It's a hate/love relationship, especially with tweets like

To be fair, every character so far but Vivienne have been criticized for their looks.
I think that his comment on the comparison with Cage has more to so with the fact that people judge a character without clear shots (Carver dumb, Ginormous Merrill and Solas) than him being pissed off. I'd say to wait and see how he'd look like in the kit and FF week before judging him.

I'm sure he's going to be an awesome character, but yeah, sadly I have no interest in romancing him. Which is depressing, cause that leaves just one male LI left for me.

So evidently Solas looks like Nicolas Cage, now? Sort of like Carver was once clearly a moron and Merrill had enormous breasts, I assume.

Well, I guess what I'm saying is, he should expect the criticism (considering fans really have nothing else to go on), but that I sympathize with him. It's got to be rough seeing people hatin' on your babies.

It's probably the angle of the Shot. It's not more unrealistic than an angle giving Merill enourmous breasts .

So far, the only human male companion that has been mostly confirmed is the Grey Warden via that gameplay picture. Say they do go the ME3 route, I don't know if they are gonna aim for 2 non human romances, or just one. Perhaps, gay Grey Warden, straight Solas, and bi "Mustache" Guy or whoever the hell he turned in to...

I woudn't honestly know. There's so many option for the male characters. It's more easy to pick the females in case of three romances .

How can we guess at such things though? I mean how can you tell if a character is gay, bi, or straight without the writers actually saying so. 

 

Well I mean we'd know Cass isn't gay because she had that thing with the male mage in her anime (so I hear), so there's that.

If they go playersexual, then there's only gonna be 4, which also works for me, because at least there are options.
