Also, playing as Vashoth. Way too excited for that. Plus the fact that there's no DLC character, I approve. (They always seem so tacked on, and I hate that so much. Sebastian was pretty, but meh. Javik was... a poor idea to be made into DLC. Zaeed and Kasumi were okay, but who really talked to them? Shale was the best DLC member ever, though, and no one can take her from me!)

 

At this point, the gender inequalities are making me a little wary about Cullen having a spot in our roster. Anyone got deets on the likelihood of NPC romance for DAI? (I'm pretty sure Gaider said he wasn't fond of the idea, but never actually said it wouldn't happen.)

I'm excited to use the character creator!  Oh so many hours will be poured into creating the perfect Inquisitor... and then Inquisitors of the other 3 races, yay.  Seriously, look at this dwarven cutie!

 

 

You can never experience something for the first time again, I can't wait for that feeling.  Also, just getting to know the companions, whoever they may be.

One thing I'm NOT looking forward to (but it's an amusing negative) is fighting giants/trolls, not unless they get loin cloths. They are very quite tall, and unless I'm looking at the screenshot wrong, that is a lot of pubic hair all up in the screen there. Just no avoiding it when the poor Inquisitor and party has to look up to fight them.

One thing I'm NOT looking forward to (but it's an amusing negative) is fighting giants/trolls, not unless they get loin cloths. They are very quite tall, and unless I'm looking at the screenshot wrong, that is a lot of pubic hair all up in the screen there. What was precisely sexist about him there? Any moreso than before, at least.

I wasn't surprised when it happened. They were setting it up, especially by the end of 2. The robot body surprised me, I figured it'd just continue on with her bright blue glowing orb in 3.

 

The horndog behaviour wasn't surprising, either. Can't you catch him watching porn at one point?

The objectification of EDI's new body was kinda not okay. 

 

And as someone who personally knows someone with the real life equivalent of the disease Joker has, I sort of found the unintentional commentary about how the 'crippled nerd' could only be with his ship/computer a little squeaky to begin with. Just something that rubbed me the wrong way, and then Joke had to make the whole "I need EDI in my line of site to work well hurr hurr" that rubbed me the wrong way in other ways. 

 

Buuuut that's ruining the feel good/excited mood.

I think it was just the timing that rubbed me the wrong way, really. I just know it made me wince rather than laugh at the time.

That last bit is also not surprising. I'm positive there's plenty of non-positive lurkers who just stalk this thread to find something to complain about on Tumblr. Not that one has to try too hard to find something to complain about on Tumblr.

Quite a number of people at tumblr seem to be quick to jump on anything. Matt Rhodes was attacked recently for talking about how sometimes young artists don't white wash intentionally and just need to be educated. A lot of people on tumblr decided that meant he supported racism.
