Cool, we're off page 4000.  Firstly I haven't read the fan fiction yet, I'm saving it until I have a little more time available to me but I did want to say great all the art is and particularly how much I enjoyed Lola's Cullen videos.  I think the first one should be kept as the standard reply to anyone who ever says 'blah, blah Cullen is boring, blah, blah.  Why do those stupid fangirls like him so much? blah blah blah....'  It visually encapsulates the argument for Cullen as a character for inclusion in Inquisition brilliantly, great job!              

 

Also madly crushing on Cullen right now.....tragic!

This is far from finished and not what I had intended as the final work. I was attempting to recreate Cullen's DA2 look for Origins and then, using the new morph, take some screens from CME's Cullen mod. Oh well, maybe when I can get the game functioning again I can post the finished product. But here's my start on Cullen:

I'm glad you liked the Cullen's Escape video, was it obvious what was going on in it? It was so difficult trying to tell the story I wanted to portray with limited scenes.

Well, my humble offering to enjoy over delicious fanfic and awesome vids. It's a drink recipe I came across a few years ago when I had this holiday party and I made a vat of it! (so much work). But for smaller settings over the holidays--purrfect.

 

I call it THE CULLEN COZY (tho it's also called spiced apple cider sangria.) I'm going to add a link as well to a site that has the exact portions and ingredients...and sum other nice tidbits you all may enjoy!  http://www.mylifeasa...er-sangria.html

 

 

 

"I’d like to introduce the Spiced Apple Cider Sangria. Simple, flavorful, and full of everything thing that screams Fall. The sweet apple cider is perfectly spiced with the flavors of Autumn. When coupled with the warmth of the brandy and the earthy, dry flavor of the wine, this drink makes you want to bundle up and sit around the fireplace with this drink."

 

Spiced Apple Cider Sangria

Yield: 6 1/2 cups

Apple Cider Sangria filled with hints of orange, cinnamon, and clove... Perfect for Fall! Doubling this recipe is highly recommended!

Ingredients:

For the Spiced Apple Cider:
2 cups apple cider (the real stuff - opaque in color & found in the refrigerator section)
1/3 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
2 orange slices (rounds)

For the Spiced Apple Cider Sangria:
1 bottle inexpensive Spanish red wine (we used Tempranillo)
2 cups spiced apple cider (recipe above)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup brandy

Directions:

For the Spiced Apple Cider:
Mix together all ingredients in a medium sized saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and then remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Strain before using.

For the Spiced Apple Cider Sangria:
Mix ingredients together in a large pitcher and garnish with orange wheels and cinnamon sticks. To serve, pour over ice.

 

(*author's note: serving it warm is very nice, too)
