The Cullen video I've spent months working on! It's supposed to be set after the Meredith situation, and jumps forward in time to the reason why he leaves. 

 

(It's a little laggy in places, YT made it go slightly funny):

It all made sense to me and was easy to follow. First his seeing and remembering what happened to Meredith. Then that grey-haired high-ranking templar comes to remove him from his position. He's under house arrest. He's interrogated He's sitting there, thinking about everything that's happened... then finally... he MAKES A DECISION. (I love the music choices in this video; the music changes at just the right time. Also at this point I sat up in my chair and was grinning, cause come on, GO CULLEN! lol) He puts on some armor and makes his own way into the world. Then the Fade tear happens... we get the idea that Cullen will have a new purpose in life. I love it.

First things first: the prequel to this fic is Seeking. (LINK IS TO THE LIVEJOURNAL KINKMEME MEANING NSFW although my fic is fluffy as bunnies and not even a little porny.) While it sets up the relationship and helps define my Inquisitor, it's really not necessary. Also it is full of stuttery Cullen. It should be noted that Ashtal is Tal-Vashoth, and the Warden for this verse is a Dalish rogue. It sort-of matters.

You captured the Tal-Vashoth Voice perfectly. I love Ashtal's strength. and really, you nailed her Voice. I particularly liked the line abt the shakles of the Qun being off, but how it's fingers still pressed on their minds...I read that line a couple times.

It's kinda the theme I ran with for both that pic and the Escape video. Basically he receives a letter informing him about how Lambert's decision to break the Neverran Accord went a head and that people would be coming to relieve him of his duty because he failed to attend the gathering. (He didn't go because he was taking a stand, but rather than ditch the Templars and run knowing he'd be in the sh!t, he decided to stay in the hopes that he could state his case).

 

He looks worried because he is, LOL!

 

Ahh, okay, I see (I waited to read this until after I saw the video, so I wouldn't be spoiled.) That definitely adds some depth, thanks!

The Surely Templar

 

Because surely this templar will be around to share a drink with our Inquisitors!

 

 

Like our favourite Knight-Captain, the Surely Templar combines the earthy righteousness of Scotch with a strong undercurrent of bittersweetness.

 

1 oz single malt Scotch

0.5 oz passionfruit syrup

juice of 1/2 lemon

4-6 dashes orange bitters

 

stir and pour over ice

 

add tonic water to taste and garnish with an orange slice and dried ramen noodles

 

 

The ramen garnish totally makes it

 

Damn, if there's one thing I don't have handy, it's a good Scotch I'm definitely going to have to eventually try this one though. It looks delicious! Looks like a sweet/sour drink, too... my favorite kind.

Spot on! That last part makes gives me feels too, and I made the bloody thing! I spent ages looking for the perfect pieces of music. That first part (with the Meredith corpse) is by Trevor Morris, lol.

 

The video itself actually has a content ID claim on it, due to that last piece of music, so YT might end up taking it down. Doesn't matter though, I'll just upload it elsewhere and link it back to page 4000, lol.

Wow, Adela, love the finished version of Cullen!! Really nice detail on the tunic; I like the shine the gold produces in the light. Nice sort of rusted/dented detail on the shoulder armor thing (yeah clearly I'm a moron when it comes to armor, lol!). And, of course, his face. Man, I really love that scar. I find myself hoping we'll get the choice to add scars in the CC, even though I know I'm too vain to mar my lovely elf's face, haha

Really? I thought you'd done it before, semi-professionally! I'm not being insincere here, that was really good. I never suspected it was you (and I watch all your videos, so I feel I know your voice). I don't know, to me that's the sign of a true voice actor. I mean, sure, some people have a really distinctive voice (Gideon Emery comes to mind lol), but being able to change it like that it amazing.

Ok so since  the main image I wanted to do for this challange was going to be based off of R2s
fanfic- RED (thats what the room i was trying to make was for) I have failed to finish it
due to my vegas vacation for a week and then when I came home I did a lot of fuking off so instead
this is my  "backup plan" pic I did a while back,  I will still post R2's fanfic pic when its done tho
even if its not for page 4k (sorry r2)
