What in the seven hells?!?!
Who in the world would actually do that?
I was at a waffle house diner in Tennessee and some people were eating the grits with maple syrup! Are there other ways to eat them sweet?

I actually got to taste some suthern food while me and my husband had a layover in Atlanta, it was pretty damn good
Atlanta is one of the best places to get Southern food. That and New Orleans in Louisiana.

You know...there probably are. To be honest though, if my mother saw them eating like that, she'd bust out a shotgun. I don't think I have ever really seen people eat them sweet before.
Okay, I have a fun idea.
(assuming all our hopes and dreams come true)
How do you think the Inquisitor will find Cullen in DA:I?

Heh, this reminds of the Scottish versus English 'war' over how to make and serve porridge. The Scots say water and salt, sometimes with butter, while us English prefer to make it with milk, and jam, honey or syrup lol
But, I'm not a man!
... Although, I would make a rather splendid one!
Channeling your inner Boris, are we?

Ahh mes amis I have to disagree
Cajun food outweighs Creole food by a mile!!! Come to Lafayette or Lake Charles (or any of the small cities between or below) for good Louisiana food.
Hopefully Aeonar. Because for me that's two birds with one stone. Also, it means Cullen's suffering and I love me to have characters go through the hard times and come out stronger. So that's three. Three birds.
That would be AWE-SOME!
I think, sense we may or may not be going back to Kirkwall, he may be there. I see him somewhere fighting the red templars, or he could be in Aeonar, probably taken captive by them.

Be that a challenge I hear, dear?

Geez, what did all those birds ever do to you

Mais oui, it's a simple fact!!!
In all honesty, I dislike NOLA food unless it is non-Louisiana; for instance, I've had great Greek food there.

*late* I grew up in Virginia, and have lived in Tennessee for the past seven years, but have somehow managed to never have grits. I'm not sure how this has happened.

I was like 12 when I went... the beignets were delicious at cafe du monde

Well, I'm Cajun, and I don't like the Creole versions of recipes, which is what they make in NOLA. There are also lots of "fakes" in NOLA... people not from there that cook "New Orleans style" food, *cough* Emeril *cough*

YES. Cafe du Monde is the absolute best. You cannot go to New Orleans and not go to Cafe du Monde.

Yeah it's hard to ruin beignets; they're pretty good there, but they're pretty good everywhere. Plus most people can make them at home anyway.

Unless you have somewhere to be and can't stand an hour in line to pay a ridiculous amount of money for three small pastries...
In all seriousness, if you've never been to Louisiana, definitely have some beignets. Doesn't have to be at Du Monde though.
