Oh sorry, I went to go find some pork scratchings.

Basically, Penny Arcade, the guys who started and run PAX, did a comic strip parodying the MMO quest thing where you have to kill ten things that are attacking a farm or something, but obviously the problem persists due to the limitations of an MMO. However, these arseholes decided to parody it using 'dickwolves' who raped people. Yeah. Some people complained so they issued a so-called 'apology' which was very callously intended to also be humorous where they were incredibly offensive to victims of rape. Later, they began selling Team Dickwolves t-shirts, and when those got taken down due to the complaints, they then said it was a mistake. Which drew cheers from what I assume must have been the predominately male crowd. So yeah, they're horrible people.

And to add to that, some tweets showed just how transphobic at least one of them is.

The Templars are like the monster the Chantry created that's coming back to bite them in the butt.

 

Even in DA2. I mean, it was like a military coup. Of the seat of the Viscount And the Chantry's authority. I didn;t think Meredith was gonna back down that time w/Elthina at the Gallows. Tho, Elthina did say, "be a Good Girl..."

 

I was like Oh! Snap! Dis!...hmm, that's not gonna go over well. It just really felt like even the Chantry was in a very precarious position.

 

But what the Chnatry did to those young people by hooking them on lyrium like that....it's low.

 

If Cullen is a companion, I still wonder if they're gonna touch on this topic? Tbh, idk if I want them to. We haven't had to deal with any thing like this with a companion. Addiction. Extreme mind addling addiction at that. We;ve seen it's affects , and lack of lyrium affects, on other Templars.

Dear Maker! Tell me there's a cure for this lyrium addiction because it's not just a matter a "kicking it". It seems as tho without the lyrium--they really lose their minds.

 

Is that a temporary withdrawal thing, or...forever and ever?
