Yea I kind of liked Meridith too for some reason, Im kind of sad that we didnt had more options to reason with her tho, It didn't necessarily had to come to "the last man standing" thing Loghain I liked him alot in the stolen throne book but in origins he made me mad lol causer once again he couldnt see reason, as for Orsino... idk Im kind of neutral about him
As much as I love me some compromise, I understand why Meredith and Loghain both couldn't be reasoned with. Loghain has very deep wounds towards Orlais, and he felt that the prince was selling out the country he loved to them.
Meredith had a little problem with red lyrium and an idol.
Orsino's randomly abomination needed more build up. That's my only pet peeve. Especially when I was freakin' winning that fight.
I think what they should have done, was have it a scripted lose in some way. Just so you actually felt the pressure Orsino claimed they were all under. Instead of leaving Hawke standing there all "Orsino, pls. I was kicking arse and no one was dying."
Rendon Howe.. how I loathe him. But I'm sold on him. Because I -loveeeeeeee- Tim Curry.
Tim Curry might have had something to do with how much I... appreciate his character.
Seriously, though. Howe was a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE man, but, as a character, he was far more than one note. He definitely had reasons (not good ones mind, but still reasons) behind what he did. I just wished we'd learnt a little more about it from the man himself rather than piecing it together through reading about the Howe and Cousland histories.
