I feel like DAI is gonna make me cry frequently. I'm kinda looking forward to it, is that weird?

 

I just hope one of those 40 endings gives us the option for our Inquisitor to live and not lose everything he/she loves in the process, LOL!

Speaking of first playthroughs, assuming Cullen does have a somewhat major part, will anyone pick all the "happy Cullen" choices (lol) even if it's not what you think your character wants? Just so you don't miss out on his romance?

Omg, ME3 made me tear up a few times. The only time I've full on cried in a game was the end of The Walking Dead Season 1 when Lee died at the end. My god, I've not bawled like that in a long time!

I don't either regarding Cole. And they did already do 6:3 ratio in Origins. So... what if that last spot is filled with a dwarven female?

 

Yeah I know they did it for Origins. In this game though it seems they're trying to undo all the previous "mistakes" (no 1st day dlc, tactical camera, semi open world) I don't know if there was a backlash for the 6:3 ratio of Origins, wasn't on BSN back then. For me it just feels like there is a female missing, I can't explain why.

He probably just won't respond. I was pretty direct with the question so he couldn't play dumb. Not responding is probably his best choice.

I know my first playthrough is gonna end soooooo badly! I get very overwhelmed when I don't know where I'm going or what I'm supposed to do next... I enjoy it though!

Random thought: If Cullen were making a small appearance a la Alistair, they'd have happily advertised it the way they did Alistair's VA being in the studio on Twitter. But Mr. Ellis evidently has a gag rule slapped onto him... and it makes one wonder why.

Isn't Vivienne the Orlesian Court Mage? I ask because of this:

Nah not really, it was an incredibly early build and they just loaded up a map and told us to "do things". I don't even know much about the main story, I remember it has to do with some guy who's leader of a faction known as the red templars trying to get into the black city but I think they changed the red templars.

What I do remember the most was this quest where you and your party attended the orlesian empress's ball in order to make connections and allies for the inquisition, the game gives you three different allies to go after (The empress, her brother who commands the army, or an elven noble trying to vie for power in orlesian politics) and half way through you discover a plot by the red templars to assassinate the empress so you need to find clues and converse with the suspects to find out who it is it's the baroness and after the who escapade morrigan who's been the orlesian court mage this whole time is ordered to assist the inquisition

I think the first time was partly due to the fact that the game hadn't even been officially announced at that point. BUT, the fact that he was in the booth so early on says something to me. If he was just a cameo then in theory he'd be going in to do his lines around now. He was in there early, and there's obviously a good reason for that. He must be something important, be it a companion or important npc.

Amen. It's gonna be a disaster. My main goal on every first runthrough is that I survive, and that my chosen LI doesn't die and sticks with me through the end of the game.
