That would be fantastic! Why aren't you a writer for Bioware? You have amazing ideas.
Aw thanks, I wish I was! The first thing I'd do is demand to write Cullen's dialogue LOL!

LOL. I would look forward to that!
Sometimes I'm afraid that if we do get him as a LI that it won't be what I expect.

I get the feeling that the version of DA3 I have in my head is gonna be nothing like what we will actually end up with lol!

I hope they return to the way where we could just talk to our companions whenever we felt like it. It was weird in DA2 where you practically waited for your companions to want to talk to you. It made it feel rather distant for me.

The waiting does it. It forces me to think about what the game would be like, which leads me to create a version that may become completely different than how the game will really turn out. Haha.

At PAX they said we would be able to have an area where we talk to the companion's as much as we like or something? They also said that they could do better than the whole campsite interaction thing that we had in DA:O, so that sounds promising. Personally, I hope we get to hang out with the companions between quests whilst we're in the cities, kinda like in Mass Effect 3 where your crew would chill out in various places on the Citadel and we could go on dates and hang out with them.

So I was looking at the concept art from that survey again and two things struck me. The first being the blacked out part through the middle of the pictures, supposedly that's an IP address, but I've never seen nor heard of a survey that stamps your IP address through the middle of it, it looks more like the artists water mark to me. Secondly the pictures kinda look like something out of Warhammer. It makes me wonder if these were found in Deviantart.com or something.
I haven't been able to see this concept art because the ones I try to look at were removed

Hmm, it's quite interesting. It's quite difficult to tell anything (for me) with the pictures so small and the one on the bottom being cut in half. I wish they gave us more to look at.
So they say they put the blacked out part there to cover their IP address? It seems odd to me...

That sounds like it could be a good reason. But someone else doing our dear Cullen's beautiful voice..the thought makes me shudder! But then, I'd rather he had a different voice and have a fantastic romance than not be there at all.
Yeah, I'm hoping if Cullen is a full companion/LI then it'll be Greg Ellis voicing him. However, he's just started work on a new TV show called "Touch" so I dunno how much free time he has in his work diary. He was originally the voice of Anders in DA:Awakening but he was replaced by Adam Howden to do Anders voice in DA2 because Greg was busy filming then too... However, I think that was for Pirates of the Carribean which required him to work on location, whereas the TV series that he's currently doing is based in America, and since he's not a main character he should have a fair bit of down time to fit other projects (such as recording Cullen's dialogue for DA3)... In theory anyway.
Although apparently (regarding Anders), Greg said he didn't know why he wasn't cast as Anders again in DA2 (I guess it's David Gaiders word against his lol.)

I love that they are recording dialogue already. I wonder if that'll be Greg's session?

So... what would Cullen's likely crisis point be?
Crisis point? Like, what would push him to go bat **** insane?
Hard to say, you'd think that the whole torture at the hands of blood mages and demons would have done it (like it did in the original DA:O epilogues before they retconned it.) Sooo I guess maybe being tortured again whilst being forced to watch those he loved slaughted, killed and/or turned into demons? Like his family members (if he has any) or a romantic partner. Otherwise I dare say lyrium withdrawal could make him snap if it got bad enough.
... Then again, he might have already snapped after the events of DA2? Hopefully we'll get to find out what's become of him. What do you think would push him to crisis point?

Thanks for the update! What would we do if you weren't here? It must be exciting going to those sessions and hearing the character's voice for the first time.
If they are doing VO sessions does that mean they have the story written?

I've often wondered what his reaction would be if we found out that Andraste was a Mage and are given the option to either keep it secret, or tell the world. I wonder if he'd ask the protagonist to keep it secret and destroy the evidence, or agree that he/she should tell the world, and if he did want you to keep it secret, would he leave the party out of anger/moral code if you refused.

You think Cullen would leave outright if the PC was a blood mage? Well, that'll make things a bit easier in DA3, seeing as how I always play one.
And I'm revealing that secret even if it kills me.
If they make the game properly then that should be an absolute must. It really annoyed me that no one batted an eyelid if Hawke was a blood Mage, even Fenris and Anders would still romance you despite being dead against it.
