It's actually smack dab on the border of Nevarra and Tevinter. Solas might be pulling an Anders, and is merely taking his name from the place.

I don't think that the jokes about romances today necessarily have any big meaning. You know how sometimes when you and your co-workers start joking about something, it can keep coming up throughout the day? It could be as simple as they started joking about it because of recent forum threads and got on a roll.

 

Obviously I could be wrong and they may be gearing up for something, but personally I don't read it as anything more significant than the devs messing around in a trollolol way with the fans because the subject happened to come up. *shrug*
