Oh, you happen to like Poets of the Fall? I completely missed that when I was skimming this thread. Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper interests me especially because it almost sounds, in some way, applicable to Shepard (albeit perhaps requiring a gender flip).

 

Yes. You like them too? I don't know much about Shepard since I never got around to playing ME but I've heard enough that I can appreciate the basis for the association. It's a very... lonely warrior kind of song, I think. And the song is written in such a way that a gender flip would work well for your Shepard.

How practically every elf seems to only have one name, and that Mahariel was only ever referred to on a single-name basis, which makes me suspect that any putative first name is in fact non-canon.

Elves still have surnames. Zevran's, for example, was Arainai. We just don't find them out that often because they aren't as important. We only ever get referred to by last name because that's set in stone. But anything you import is your canon, Xil, have fun with it.

Cool! I love them if they have good energy and clever lines. Oooh! That reminds me! I forgot one I love. "The Ultimate Fling" because "give me a reason, come on and make my day, cos I'm out of cheeks to turn the other way, ask yourself just how lucky do you feel" is one of the most clever lines I've heard.

Ironically, I first heard Poets in a Wincest video and I'm not a fan of Wincest. I clicked a link someone shared and the music kept me from leaving the video. It was well done too! I just... don't see the UST in Sam & Dean. But I HAD to have the song, "Carnival of Rust" then I went and bought the whole album when I sample other tracks and fell in love with "Sorry Go Round" and "Locking Up The Sun". I've bought everything else from them since then. Literally, everything iTunes has for them shows a "play" button for me, rather than a price. lol! And they're on my Blind Buy List. I heard about "War" being in Alan Wake. I still want to get my hands on that game. It's a good song.

The last two guys poking each other with sticks are/were actually famous, they used to be on a British soap called Hollyoaks! It's crazy that they'd even heard of Dragon Age!
