Refraining with difficulty from listing those other Hawkes whom I want to horribly murder...

DAO:
Lilith Surana
Female elf mage
-Brought in Circle, saved Connor (freed Jowan)
-Had Zathrian lift the curse
-saved the Circle
-killed Branka, destroyed Anvil
-"killed" Flemeth on Morrigan's behalf
-romanced Leliana
-Alistair might be ruling solo or with Anora
-may or may not have killed Loghain
-did Dark Ritual

DAA
-recruited everyone
-saved Amaranthine
-Spared Architect

DA2
Nympheminria (I needed some reason as to why she only used her last name, yes?) Hawke
Female Mage
-Romanced Merrill
-kept Isabela
-Merrill was not psychologically abused
-Spared Anders, (I live for the drama)
-Bartrand's alive
-gave Varric the shard
-Carver was a Warden
-Did not side with Petrice
-sided with Janeka, (reluctantly, as the presentation isn't that good)
-sided with the mages. There can be no compromise.

Of all the people I've ever talked to on here I can absolutely 100% see you using the name Lilith for your character lol!

@Shyviolet, I would do Legacy if you can, because that could potentially have a big impact on the story. MotA was ok as well, but I enjoyed it more for the banter than the plot.

I did Legacy for my rogue run - I did love it! Just haven't done it yet for the mage run.

never finished MOTA, I just can't stand Tallis (though I do like F. Day!)

the only reason I haven't played ME is because Im not that big of a fan of scifi,  I guess the only scifi game I enjoyed was starcraft and that was pretty much it, Im very picky when it comes to games I like games that are in a medieval setting but they also have to have a good story ala dragon-age and vampire the masquerade redemption, Ive played som shooter games before like Duke Nukem ,  and other stuff but Im mostly dawned to medieval settings like Witcher as well although the 1st witcher was pretty hard (atleast for me)

See I totally get that. Why get something if your not that into the genre or setting. BUT I do have a few friends who were very "Meh, Sci fi" who ended up loving the series anyway and two that ended up loving Sci if also! If you can find it on sale I would recommend picking it up!

For those of you who haven't played the Mass effect series you absolutely should! I know some people feel like it's Dragon age OR Mass Effect but that's a silly way to view it. They are both amazing series! One is more science fiction and the other fantasy sure, but they are both really fun, well written and enjoyable games. The thing is make sure you don't go in hoping for dragon age in space lol! Combat is diffrent, you follow one lead character the whole way through the series and lots of other things I'm sure you've heard about. Honestly I would consider the mass effect series probably my favorite gaming experience of all time next to Chrono Trigger. It partly gets that though because it has the added benefit of being my first bioware game as well. So! Go check it out! Also I'd recommended starting with the first one!

I actually liked the setting and the story but I couldn't get the hang of the controls so I gave up in frustration. I should give it another try.

Me too - I have ME both on PC and PS3, but I suck so bad at the shooter stuff I gave up.

I just spent 15 minutes reading every one else's world states instead of typing up my own; now I'm going to be late for my hair appointment   I'll just be brief; not a lot of the nitty gritty stuff matters to me. Mostly the companions matter.

DA:O:

Theron Mahariel, romanced Zevran, Alistair did the DR. Alistair king. Dead Connor, the more conservative dwarf is on the throne.

and...

Rohan Tabris, romanced Zevran, Alistair did the DR. Alistair king. Connor and Isolde live. Bhelen on throne.

DA2:

Nemanja Hawke, rogue, romanced Fenris, Isabela came back, friends with everyone, Merrill kept her mirror. Anders lives. Sided with mages.

Eirik Hawke, rogue, romanced Fenris, Isabela came back, rivals with the mages including Bethany, pro-templar but ultimately could not kill Anders and sided with the mages in the end. He's pro-Circle but not pro-mass murder of innocents. EDIT: Oh and Merrill broke her mirror.

The demographics of certain choices here leave me enraged, but also intrigued as to what mechanics might lead to results of... this nature.

Yeah, I have it for PS3 and I was hopeless at it!  :P

I was surprised because I'm actually pretty coordinated, but for whatever reason I was just terrible at that game.

I don't, it's a really common down here. People get really confused because of the whole Lola/AbilityDrain/Emma thing, I think they think it's 3 different people, when really it's just me, LOL!

Is it because of the song?
"Whatever Lola wants! Lola gets!" When I was younger I used to sing that at my sister and insert her name instead of Lola to tease her. And my family was actually surprised when I came out. Seriously people, the signs were ALWAYS there! LOL ;)

In all honesty, here in the US, I haven't run across a lot of Emma's. I think I see more Emily's. And I don't get why people would be confused lol. It's not that hard to comprehend. Everyone uses different monikers on different mediums. Even I do it lol

I swear I get motion sickness playing that Assassins Creed games on the ps4 so I get having trouble with it. Usually I Bioware in the PC which made the second dragon age game a little wonky.

I think of Lola as a nickname for Nicole, so if you'd just said it wasn't your real name that would have been my guess.  :)

So why not ask?  ;)

I don't usually participate in debates about Merrill, at least not as much as some might think, because it frequently makes me too angry to speak coherently. But I wonder if some common denominator in this thread leads to so many rivaling her. Some sort of misguided "mothering" instinct, perhaps? It doesn't seem to speak of the same brute lack of caring that many templar partisans show.

They're a conservative, anti-gay, religious group of moms who like to stand up for  "Traditional Family Values". They're an infamous USA group. And despite the name, they are a very small group. A couple years ago, when Ellen DeGeneres became a spokesperson for JC Penneys (I think it was them), they raised a fuss. They complained when there was a Father's Day commercial 1 or 2 years ago, with two gay dads. Just stupid bullsh!t like that.

Emma/Emily is still super popular around here - mainly 20 yrs and younger though.

I feel the pain though - my name is Lisa, most popular girls name of the year when I was born. Second only to Jennifer for a while. Always at least 2 in the room. Which is why my kids have more unusual names.
