I swear I get motion sickness playing that Assassins Creed games on the ps4 so I get having trouble with it. Usually I Bioware in the PC which made the second dragon age game a little wonky.

I've actually only had the PS3 since October. I wanted to play some newer games, and a new gaming PC was just not even close to in the budget at all. The PS3 was very affordable (it was used) and overall I've been super happy with it. Mass Effect on PS3 was not a success for me, however.  :P

They're a Conservative, anti-gay, religious group of moms who like to stand up for  "Traditional Family Values". They're an infamous USA group.

Is it because of the song?
"Whatever Lola wants! Lola gets!" When I was younger I used to sing that at my sister and insert her name instead of Lola to tease her. And my family was actually surprised when I came out. Seriously people, the signs were ALWAYS there! LOL ;)

Naw, it's because a crazy ex-boyfriend kept pestering me online so I had to close down all my old usernames 'n' accounts and come up with one that would be so unlikely for me to use so that he couldn't track me down, the film Lolita happened to be on the TV as I was trying to think up a name, Jeremy Iron's character kept calling Dolores "Lola" and I was like "that'll do". After that it just kinda stuck.

(Usually I like to use stupid usernames like... DildoBaggins 'n' stupid ones like that).

I'm stuck somewhere halfway ME1 (although I do have the complete series)... seriously can't start to like it: too much shooting (and I am soooo bad at that) and not enough quality time with the crew/other non-combative roleplay.

They're a conservative, anti-gay, religious group of moms who like to stand up for  "Traditional Family Values". They're an infamous USA group. And despite the name, they are a very small group. A couple years ago, when Ellen DeGeneres became a spokesperson for JC Penneys (I think it was them), they raised a fuss. They complained when there was a Father's Day commercial 1 or 2 years ago, with two gay dads. Just stupid bullsh!t like that.

And to that I sing: "WHAT-WHAT, IN THE BUTT!"

Hi,

Emily is way more popular where I'm from than Emma (Emily is always near the top of the most popular girls names lists) but I've always liked Emma better probably because of Jane Austin.  :)  It's a good name.

On another note Adela's embargo made me giggle and blush!  I'm too OLD to giggle and blush like a school girl.

Ugh, seriously? Some sort of Tea Party than? Those kind of folks are annoying me endlessly: do not enforce your values on others. It's the 21th century ffs, not 15th... Go pack your bags and go to some remote island, so you can bug your own folks there...

ok first off dildobaggins made me snort lol! But More importantly that really sucks about your ex boyfriend, I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't know if it was "Take me back!" Or, "I hate you!" Pestering but either way it was serious enough that you had to change accounts so I'm sorry. :/

They're a part of the American Family Association, formed to stop the "exploitation of children". These are truly vile people.

http://en.wikipedia....on_Dads_project

The One Million Moms expressed opposition to Marvel and DC Comics issues which featured gay characters. They described the story lines as a "brainwashing and desensitizing experience" for children, written to "influence them in thinking that a gay lifestyle choice is normal and desirable."

On December 6, 2012, One Million Moms released a statement on their website, again objecting to JC Penney's use of Ellen DeGeneres as spokesperson in a Christmas-themed commercial, saying, "Since April, JC Penney's has not aired Ellen DeGeneres in one of their commercials until now. A new JCP ad features Ellen and three elves. JCP has made their choice to offend a huge majority of their customers again."

The organization has also criticized GEICO for a commercial showing Maxwell the Pig in a car with a human girl, saying it suggests bestiality.

A little of both, his mind changed on a daily basis depending on if he was trying charm or scare tactics, lol... he had a few issues.

I don't usually participate in debates about Merrill, at least not as much as some might think, because it frequently makes me too angry to speak coherently. But I wonder if some common denominator in this thread leads to so many rivaling her. Some sort of misguided "mothering" instinct, perhaps? It doesn't seem to speak of the same brute lack of caring that many templar partisans show.

Ah, I see.

To me (and to my Hawke,) Merrill appeared to be engaging in very dangerous behavior and demonstrating that she did not have an understanding of the dangers involved. Had her clan supported her in her endeavors, it might have just been an elf thing that humans needed to accept without really understanding, but pretty much everyone with actual knowledge of the risks counseled Merrill against taking them, and Merrill seemed unwilling or unable to listen. I think the time this was most graphically demonstrated was when Merrill stated that she hadn't intended the Keeper to pay the price - it had seemingly never even occurred to her that who would pay wasn't necessarily going to be her choice, even though it seemed painfully obvious to me.

I liked Merrill. I didn't want to see her get hurt. I didn't want to see her hurt other people. I didn't want her to hurt herself.

Telling her that led to rivalry. Sometimes people have to hear hard truths that they don't want to hear.

I think that groups like 1 million mothers forget that everyone has a mother or someone who has tried to care or love them in their lives and sometimes those 'mother's children' do not fit the cookie cutter image these people favor.  I think if they were going to try to latch on to something universal about motherhood to promote then a better lesson would have been that mother's can LOVE their children no matter what they are.  They love their baby without knowing what life their child will lead.  I think that groups that try to make someone else's child feel lesser in the name of motherhood are pretty sad.

Anyway, I don't want to go further into something that could be seen to be political.

I do not want this to turn into a "conservatives are bad!" Conversation but... I always though that in regards to the Tea Party (and super conservatives in the U.S) that they fight so hard to keep their first and second amended rights-god forbid you try and take away guns or anything THEY like. But your wanting the rights and freedom to love who you want, worship what God or gods you choose?
ha! no. That's not a right you get to have.
Or that weird law they wanted to pass in Arizona where you don't have to serve gays or unmarried mothers because it violates your religious rights. That was so weird to me because that's basically saying "It's my legal right to persecute you!" WHAT?

I'm right there with you. I'd hate for this to turn into a political war.

So on topic off topic- mmmmm. Cullen. Hope my male inquisitor gets to try out his embargo! ;)

So, who's got a list of concept names for their Inquisitor(s)?

So far I've got 6 potential female names jotted down for my first Inquisitor (since I always play as me first and I can't call her Emma because that's my Warden's name, lol!) Here's my list:

Lyra

Fiammetta

Soryn

Nuri

Malena

Aventine

I wanted to go for something a bit unusual that would fit in with the Dragon Age setting. Feel free to jot them down too, if you like them! And post up yours!
