So, who's got a list of concept names for their Inquisitor(s)?

 

My Inquisitor's name is Tempest.

Anders/Cullen is not a pairing I particularly like, but I think that art is fantastic!

I'm currently thinking of Lissette because I wanted something Orlesian sounding.  However, I may have to rethink because I have the impression the Inquisitor may be Ferelden in origin.  However, I do like the sound of Lissette Trevelyan.

To me (and to my Hawke,) Merrill appeared to be engaging in very dangerous behavior and demonstrating that she did not have an understanding of the dangers involved. Had her clan supported her in her endeavors, it might have just been an elf thing that humans needed to accept without really understanding, but pretty much everyone with actual knowledge of the risks counseled Merrill against taking them, and Merrill seemed unwilling or unable to listen. I think the time this was most graphically demonstrated was when Merrill stated that she hadn't intended the Keeper to pay the price - it had seemingly never even occurred to her that who would pay wasn't necessarily going to be her choice, even though it seemed painfully obvious to me.

 

I liked Merrill. I didn't want to see her get hurt. I didn't want to see her hurt other people. I didn't want her to hurt herself.

 

Telling her that led to rivalry. Sometimes people have to hear hard truths that they don't want to hear.

Also, the Keeper was a complete ****** who betrayed Merrill in numerous ways.

Yeah, they can be pretty batsh!t here in the states with Conservatism, and it gets really old with these people telling me I'm going to hell blah blah blah blah.

Yeah what happened to judge not lest ye be judged? Don't cast the first stone ect. A few months ago someone threw Coffee at me from their car and screamed "F****t" because my partner and I were holding hands. I was really thinking about moving lol! Really the good news is I totally won because I took the suit I was wearing in to the place I got it and asked how they would recommend getting it cleaned and they gave me a new one that was twice as expensive because they were so pissed about what had happened. So the morale of the story is good awesome people can be found everywhere lol!

I'm gonna name my first Inquisitor Rhiannon. I haven't thought about my next Inquisitors though...

I make lots of different characters, but my top choice is always named Morganna. City Elf rogue is my favourite origin. However, mage is my canon. Spirit Healer for both. Plus Arcane Warrior for first, Force Mage for second. I also favour ice and lightning.

So far I've got 6 potential female names jotted down for my first Inquisitor (since I always play as me first and I can't call her Emma because that's my Warden's name, lol!) Here's my list:

I wanted to go for something a bit unusual that would fit in with the Dragon Age setting. Feel free to jot them down too, if you like them! And post up yours!

See, I had Merrill in full friendship. I like having all the companions in full friendship where possible. I let Merrill keep the mirror, at the time I figured that it had been deactivated after we slayed the demon, plus my canon male Hawke is pretty naive when it comes to thinking of the consequences and is loyal to a fault, so he figured no harm would be done if he just let her keep the thing.

 

Of course, now the bloody devs have tweeted that allowing her to keep the mirror was a bad choice so now I'm kinda sh!tting my pants in case I've put her or Kirkwall/wherever/whoever in danger.

Oh also I have to say that I finally got around to reading the 4000 page fan fictions.  Feeling the awesome!  It totally perked me up on a rather grey and crappy day.  So thanks R2Muse and others for sharing your imagination.  I WILL go back and like everything when I can face the thought of scrolling back the 166 pages since then.  MAN, this thread moves fast.
