I just had a thought. What if that mirror ends up in our main base of operation and starts spilling out with demons whilst we're away/asleep?

Then,I'd expect having a bunch of very moody sleep-deprived quizies stabbing mahogany tables,because they'll never allow themselves to sleep again  in that place.

Do you remember in the second Tomb Raider game when Lara's mansion gets attacked whilst she's asleep? Maybe something like that, but on a grander scale. Like, our Inquisitor and LI are asleep together in bed, all of a sudden they're woken by screams and someone bursting in warning them that they're under attack etc. Or, maybe it happens when we're on the road and we come back to find the place in a right mess.

 

... Hopefully it won't kill anyone important living in there.

Well now that you've mentioned it, I hope that's what happens. Because since we're not going to Kirkwall, I think it'd be pretty.. anti-climactic just to get a little blurb about the repercussions of repairing the mirror. I want to -see- the repercussions.

But I'm wondering if they'd bother to make it that big of a deal.. as it's broken or unfixed in some people's games. So, like the OGB, also something not touched that much upon since it doesn't exist in all world states. I still think it makes sense, though. As a little mini-mission. You got plenty of mini-missions for things in 2 in regards to Origins that I never figured would pop up again.

 

Like the werewolves that went human again, and the elves ganging up on them. Or Zevran getting a Crows mission, etc.. So I don't really see why we can't have a personal hand in it. Because, again.. a blurb would just not satisfy, not after they went thru the trouble of saying keeping the mirror is a bad idea.

 

So lets hope we don't just get word thru hearsay.

 

Like learning from Varric that before he left, the Alienage was turned into a darkspawn/demon goo filled cesspit.

Question, Lola (or do you prefer Emma?). Why in the world would you want to *put* a mirror in your base lol. I know that they are potentially useful mode of transportation ( could we even move the thing to our base without it deactivating?), but they are way too dangerous until we know more. The thing could still very well transmit the Taint to us.

Urgh, so someone commented on my last DAI video saying "yeah, you suck"... of course, I took that as an opportunity to troll the person (lol), and then they're like "your video is good, but you jokes are bad, you leave needlessly long pauses when you speak, and that ending was cringey" 

 

Well, no sh!t! The joke was supposed to be bad, the ending was supposed to be cringey, and I left gaps in my speech so that people can tell where each bullet point ended, lol. Fuckin' hell, why sit through the whole thing if you don't like it?

I don't want it, but that doesn't mean we'd have a choice whether or not it ends up in our base. The Inquisitor himself/herself isn't gonna know what it is, plus it's supposed to be deactivated.

For all we know someone like Dagna might be studying it, or it got sent to us for whatever reason, and then all the demons come out.
