There is never not a time for Buffy references. ![]()
Though, to be serious, this has more to do with marketing and shiz, but that's less fun.

Guys and gals: if I say you "purchase a talent," I mean "off a talent tree, with talent points." #woethatithascometothis

In all honesty though, Buffy aside, most release dates for all game (at least in the US) tend to be a Tuesday or Thursday.

Thursdays make way more sense to me because most people have Saturday /Sunday off. Although I guess if your getting the game your getting it no matter what so maybe it has to do with shipping them all out?

Sorry it's a tweet from Mike Laidlaw (edited in the original post)
Some people were bombarding Mike about the "rolling" ability for warriors. They apparently thought it could be "DLC" only ability, and so he was annoyed about it.

That seems... like an odd assumption... but okay! ![]()

Books, games, DVDs, and music usually come out on Tuesdays. There's a special reason why; I forget why. But a store can be fined for putting out media before schedule.

Wow they can be fined? I guess that makes sense otherwise why would some wait. I always wondered if people who work there got to take it home the day before-like if you worked at a bookstore. I'm pretty sure gamestop gets them the day before and they absolutely don't get to.

Since we've been making lists, of a sorts, I'm wondering how everyone plans to set up their world for the first play through?
Okay, okay, I know i'm a bit late for this one but I really like making lists dammit. Hope no-one minds.

I used to work at Target, and things like movies and video games that came out Tues, or in the middle of the week, would get put out on the shelf early ALL THE TIME. When we would try to ring it up though, all sorts of alerts would show up and we'd have to fix it and not sell it to the customer. You can imagine how happy that made them
Not sure how it works at Gamestop, but there was no way we would be able to get away w/ purchasing anything before the release date.

People were freaking out thinking that "purchasing a talent" meant micro-transactions. So they thought that we'd have to buy talents from the talent tree with real life money.

Seriously. Purchasing a talent has been in RPG's ever since talents were invented. Either they've never played a game with talents or they're looking for a reason to scream at BioWare.

So..I found this while I was looking through the main forums...If it's true, then IB is quite the charmer and Solas seems to be as adorable as he looks!(Though It's from a german magazine,so I'd still take this info with a grain of salt)...
Ok another German Magazine and another new preview.
Only a few new infos.
The author Heinrich Lenhardt talked a bit about a new optional sidequest. For a NPC character named Fairbanks
you have to find orlaisian deserters. I don´t know if this means that you have to kill them.
Sera is also comfirmed in this article as companion.
Iron Bull is different than you think of a typical Qunari companion. He has a lot of humor. I would describe him as Anti Sten.
He has also his own army (mercs probably). Therefore it is interesting why he joined the Inquisition.
Which goals did he have?
Solas has a strange personality. A bit awkward in some situations. But he has expert knowledge about the fade.
Male Merrill?
Sorry but thats all.
