Seriously. Purchasing a talent has been in RPG's ever since talents were invented. Either they've never played a game with talents or they're looking for a reason to scream at BioWare.

They're looking for any excuse to trash BioWare, it's like they actually want DAI to suck and do badly despite the fact they were once fans. You'd think that they'd want them to make an amazing comeback, but apparently not.
So..I found this while I was looking through the main forums...If it's true,then IB is quite the charmer and Solas seems to be as adorable as he looks!(Though It's from a german magazine,so I'd still take this info with a grain of salt)...

Solas is awkward? And the writers said sweet/hot (food)? Maker I hope he is sweet awkward. You know the shy, soft type that's utterly brilliant and sharp. My no nonsense, hard, aggressive and to the point Inquisitor will swoop him of his feet.
I am building Solas up from almost nuffink and will probably be dissapointed. Haha.
If Solas is Patrick Weekes' second character, like I theorise, then you won't be disappointed-- I don't think so, anyway. I love me some Patrick Weekes, though.

I can't just sit there and say "yeah BM is fine no problem, demons are not dangerous" when we clearly know different and kill other mages when they use BM, isn't that kind of hypocritical?
That might mean something to me if Merrill had any dealings with demons in the actual game where you determine friendship/rivalry, or if blood magic somehow attracted demons inherently even when no being used to summon them... but neither one of them is true. And I only kill other mages like that when they try to kill me; it's hardly dependent on what kind of magic they use.

But Cullen is shy as well,I really hope he's nothing like Cullen tbh because that's more likely to decrease even more,the possibilities of him being a companion!But yeah I agree with you about the loner thing.
When I think of Solas as being 'awkward' ... my first thought is him being slightly out of touch with his social cues, probably because he has been a loner for a while. So possibly awkward turns of phrase and putting his foot in it... maybe unintentional innuendo like Garrus made.

I have nothing to base this on, of course, other than the fact the devs have said they don't want to write the same kind of character. So, I doubt he'll be a male Merrill.
Iron Bull sounds like he'll be a less disgusting version of Black Whirlwind. I loved that big oaf! Not romantically! 
Jade Empire was a game where almost everyone had 2 identities. Black Whirlwind was more or less what you see is what you get, but given his hidden depth and the similarities it seems IB shares with him, I wonder what complexities Iron Bull will have underneath the party animal.

They say he fears only his past, and they also keep bringing up the fact he is a Qunari outcast. So I'm thinking they threatened to use the qamek on him, or someone in his life, at some point.
Maybe an unleashed saarebas spoke to him and he declined the "Ceremonial Cut".
