I don't think he'd be much older. Plus, 5 is an acceptable number, so 9:5 would be a great year for him to have been born.

That would make him 25 during Origins and 26 in Act 1. He would then be a year or 2 older than Hawke, or about the same age, depending on how old you think your Hawke is. That sounds about right.

Has anyone tweeted at the Devs to ask them if Iron Bull and Sera are companions? I mean, they've been pretty quick to deny things that were falsely printed, and if the magazines are right and they are companions, then there's no reason to be tight-lipped. And if they are tight-lipped, well. That's something else, isn't it?

(I only ask this because my theory is we're getting a 3/3/3 split party, and if Iron Bull is in, then Cullen (or the Bearded Warden) are out. We've seen one of them in-party already. It was not Cullen.) (Unless the Iron Bull is a rogue, in which case Cole is out. Poor Cole. Please be a rogue.)

I wish there was an option for my canon Warden to call in Zevran. Because Ceyrion was a gay Dalish elf, and found Morrigan utterly unappealing. (She's so tall. And her ears are round. And she has lady bits!) So I've headcanoned exactly that.
