lol thanx, I usually dont play a lot of sci fi games but all you folks keep talking about it so I wanna try it out... btw on the ME3.. do I need to buy a special DLC cause I heard the ending is not good.. or so ppl say idk

There's the extended ending, which is free so no worries about that. I love the first two games, and most of the third one. The characters are great, and it was the Mass Effect series that made me not too concerned about Dragon Age 2 getting a voiced protagonist. It's a good game.

Lol!Funnily I have under eye circles almost as bad as Cullen's due to some allergies ,and primers are indeed a life saviour, concealer only makes them look worse for some reason... :D

So do I! haha! I've found some decent products that help. Physician's Formula mineral powder foundation is a godsend for me! I use their mineral makeup under eye stick first. It has a yellow tint to help defeat the bluish color and then follow with the powder. Concealer sucks.

OK guys since you've been talking about ME and how awesome it is I found the trilogy pack at the PX on post for $40 ... Hopefully its good I just wanna see what all the fuss is about

I've decided I'm going to have to try the series and have been waiting for a good bundle! I also need to re-purchase all of my Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed games. Hubs turned EVERYTHING in when scaring up money when we were broke a few months back. I still needed to finish "Legacy"! *pouts*

Yes, get the Extended Cut at the very least. It's a free download. I have all the DLC except Omega (still don't know what the point is other than interaction with Aria). Personally, I didn't have a problem with the ending that some people have had. And, frankly, I, too, had such a problem playing it at first that I left it sitting for a year before I picked it up again. Then I started playing it again, got the hang of the controls (I play on the PC, but the controls are fairly different from Dragon Age), and decided I loved it... well, ME2 not so much, but still. If you get stuck, the best guide I've found is the one on the Wiki. And I'm sure the people here will be more than happy to lend you a hand if you ask! ^_^

The first one can get a bit frustrating, combat system is outdated and the graphics aren't that awesome anymore either. I still love it, have a blast driving my Mako off a cliff =) My favorite is the third, usually if I want to play ME, I play the third part. I would say just put it on easy and breeze through the combat to get to the story faster; especially on the first one, once you get a hang of the combat you can always up the difficulty.

I still think DA is about 10x better, but ME's still good. I think the first game's Mako segments will make you want to kill yourself though. It's the reason I've only beaten it once. Also remember to definitely get the Citadel DLC. That thing makes the whole series for me.

I haven't played it either,so I'm anticipating your review!I can be rather picky when it comes to video games(I usually prefer fantasy and historical settings)and I don't find Sci-fI that appealing as a genre with some exceptions.

to be honest, I've never played ME1.. I got it on the PS3, and at the time ME1 wasn't available, so I went straight into 2, and 2 weeks later ME3 came out

Thanks a lot for the tip!Truth be told I still haven't found a product suitable enough for my case lol. :D

I haven't found anything that 100% covers mine, either but that stuff helps a lot. If your case is particularly bad, you might try taking iron supplements. Mine used to be soooooo horrible until I discovered I was anemic. As for coverups, I've heard that Kat Von D's line is great for heavy duty needs because her stuff covers tattoos. It's too heavy for me and will make me break out because my face is the Queen of oil. lol! But something that strong may help you. A friend of mine also swears by using warm wet black tea bags gently pressed over the eyes for 15 minutes. Supposedly, the caffeine helps reduce the blue. I've never tried it myself. Too busy. Also, the way my eyes are set, it's like they cast shadows - think it's cos of my prominent brow (me cavewoman!) so no amount of product completely does away with them.

You'll get there... if you get too frustrated, simply turn off the game for a bit and then go back. I don't usually play in the sci-fi setting either and my daughter laughed at her mom for playing a shooter! Also, for ME2, getting Arrival DLC is a must, IMO.

Dear Maker! Paul was such a perfect fit for my head canon Cullen! When he was just a little more built, he WAS Cullen to me! lol! Still can't believe he's gone, though... :(

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather, R2.  hope you're feeling better now.

I envy you, no game is ever as good as the first game you play it IMO.

I'm sure you'll love them, as much as I love Dragon Age, the ME games will always be my favourite, and ME3 my favourite out of them (taking the unpopular line, it's my thing).

Iff you're considering DLC I'd definately recommend grabbing Lair of the Shadow Broker and the Citadel, iff I was forced to only pick two, it would be those ones, they're amazing.

Huh, I never saw the resemblance before this but now I totally do. I guess his hair being wet downplays that difference.

Also, I second every point in EMarley's above post about Mass Effect.

ME3 is my favourite one too. I also didn't even mind the original ending to be honest. But I think if they did what they did with Dragon Age, I'd kick off, so maybe it's just because I didn't really bond with the characters as much as I did with DA's. (With the possible exception of Mordin) Don't get me wrong, I loved a lot of the characters, Kaidan, Miranda, Jack, but none of them really resonated with me in the way Dragon Age's have.

ME3 is my favorite as well. According to Origin, I've logged over 1200 hours playing it... about the same amount of time as playing the first two combined! Oh, and it's not necessary to play multi-player... I've gotten the optimized ending without it. And I always play on casual/narrative because I'm more interested in the story than in getting my butt handed to me! (although it still happens :P )

I never understood the complaints about multiplayer. Yeah, it shouldn't affect the ending or singleplayer, but it really wasn't necessary, even before the extended cut, depending on your choices. And ME3 is one of those games that really drove me to complete it 100% each and every time as well.

When the game first came out I found it completely impossible to get the "bestest" ending. I did everything possible except the multiplayer and my ems was so far off where it needed to be for it.
