Only problem is, all the gifs make loading this thread up super slow, lol.

So for page 5000 I'm actually thinking of a "Part Deux" (GET IT, it's in Orlais :P) of my 4000 fic. Could include Cullen going to give Lavellan his first lesson on the Andrastian faith. I'm sure then lots of religious stuff will commence. In Lavellan's bedroom.

You do strike me as very devout! ;)

I'm thinking Part Deux could be from Lavellan's perspective, and he would notice how nervous and kind of awkward Cullen seems, which would contrast with Cullen believing (in the first part) that he's better around men than women, bwahaha.

So in the run up to ME2, wasn't Jack known mostly as Subject Zero? It's just that I was working out which Inquisitor would prioritise which LI, and I was imagining a quick little embrace between them and it occured to me just how weird it would be to call the Iron Bull, 'Iron Bull'. Especially when they are so close. Then again, he used to be Qunari, so obviously he won't have had a real name as such. So what do you think? Will we have to call him Iron Bull? Does he have another name? Will we find out his Qunari name? Perhaps part of his storyline will involve us finding a name for him?

I think he does have an actual name. We might call him Bull. I think he'll eventually give you his real name, or a better name to call him by, once you become good friends or lovers with him.

I was thinking the same thing (and wondering the same thing as you, Potato); I'm actually thinking "Iron Bull" is his mercenary name, and it was sort of earned or given to him, not that he chose it. Perhaps he chose a name for himself when he left the Qun.

Now, do we know absolutely 100% that Qunari do not have names? Could they perhaps have names that they simply do not use?

"The Qunari do not have a concept of personal identity, and use titles rather than names to identify and present themselves. Their "names" are in fact strings of genealogical information used by the Tamassrans for record-keeping.

A Qunari's personal name is not what we think of as a name. It is more like a social security number, information which the Tamassrans use to keep track of breeding, and is thus not something a Qunari uses to refer to one another. What a Qunari instead thinks of as their name is, in fact, their job title, which is differentiated by rank and task"

I was thinking it was some self styled nickname to help become a more renowned mercenary.

And Qunari do have birth names, but these are just strings of genealogical information. So it would be Horned-Soldier-Father-No-Horns-Blacksmith-Mother, or something like that.

I'm rather doubtful that he'll have a name. It seems like the Qunari are called by their role in the Qun. I was reading in the Wiki, and granted I don't know where the information comes from, but it doesn't seem if children are given a name. They are taught and then at age 12 assigned their role in the Qun. Again, this is from the Wiki and could be completely wrong.

Okay, gotcha :D As to the wiki, I don't consider it a good source since it can be edited by anyone and is often riddled with mistakes, sadly :(

I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with the wiki, but it's actually been pretty reliable for me. It's mainly the new stuff to be wary of, but even then it's fixed relatively quickly. The only problem I've had is when there isn't enough information there.

Well, wikis and wikipedia are all well and good when you want to find some quick info, but if you want a 100% definite answer, it's best to look for primary sources.

Yeah, it can be lacking in info sometimes, and I try to use WoT (when I actually have it on me) to update and edit some of the more important sections that I am interested in.

This reminds me. I hope if we're given female underwears that give us big round bolt-on bewbies again, my male characters had -better- have an obvious package when they, too, are in their undies. Usually they're pretty good about the enhanced embargo outline. Needs to be fair, since if I had it my way, my women would be pretty flat chested. But if they must be well endowed, then damnit, that male character better be, too.

The levitating GG-cup breasts in DA2 are so stupid. Especially since they are all combined with a svelte, petite waist and otherwise delicate bone structure. Riiiight. Could such a person exist (minus the levitating boobanis), sure. Could all of Kirkwall be populated with them? Oh puh-lease.
