Yes! This is what I'm hoping for, personally.  It would add so much to the party dynamic, imo.

I would like him to be Dorian 2.0. Especially since I thought the original concept was so lackluster and easily stepping into Gary Stu territory. I'd also like him to be more pro-Tevinter, but since he doesn't look like a gothic Orlesian, I can't see that being so much the case.

I still believe that he's simply a Chevalier. That he's the leader of the Inquisition's military rather than Cullen.

A lot of people were pointing out however that in one concept art mustache guy is actually carrying a weapon and clearly traveling with the inquisitor and another companion. So that does not bode well.

 

Whereas Cullen has only appeared in concept art as a sort of councilor type, not an active party member.

Could it be Dorian? I'd more or less dropped that idea before, but if he is in, it'd be rather intriguing...

In-game, Cullen has a thin mustache and beard, and his hair is at least long enough to let us see that it's curly.

He definitely has shorter hair, and I would say darker, but the facial hair is... similar. I suppose I just didn't see the immediate resemblance.

Given that we know Cullen's in there to some extent whether it's him in the War Room or not, I would have no complaints about an increase in the Thedosian population of concerned-looking stubbly strawberry-blond warrior types.

Sounds ominous... On the other hand... maybe it's a side quest to find a cure for said, corrupted templar? I wonder what kind of corruption though. Blight? Or red lyrium? Or something else...?

Fair enough. It is a different medium, though. (I'm still not 100% sure that the guy everyone says is Varric is, uh, Varric. Too large, and he has the same hair as the Grey Warden. I get it.)

True. I dunno... Solas is the only Elvhen companion I know of to be in DA:I. Unless they're trolling us?
