I hate to be a cynic, guys, but Greg's been around the block a few times with this whole VA thing - he knows better than to leak info he's contractually not supposed to share.

I'm afraid that may mean he's not doing Cullen after all.

Oh i hope thats not the case.  i can't imagine somebody else doing his voice.

So, talking about Cullen going off the deep end made me wonder what you guys would think of something like this:

If Cullen became so emotionally distraught that he lost a strong sense of who he was and started drowning his sorrows in wine and women. Like he actually got so fed up with everything that he actually walked himself down to the Blooming Rose and things escalated from there. Maybe we'd go on a mission to find some guy who supposedly had connections with Chantry information, and when we track him down in the middle of the night we bust the door open to find him stubbled, unkempt, tipsy, and surrounded by four or five women with lipstick marks on his face and chest.

He'd eventually agree to help us, and it's clear that this is a guy who's been through a lot. He's flirtatious and actually kind of vulgar, but it's obvious that he's trying too hard and the ghosts of his past still haunt him. He's not as rough around the edges as he seems.

Kind of like in the Little Women movie when Laurie goes off to Europe and instead of staying the utter perfection that he is, he gambles away all his money, grows a stupid moustache, and spends all his time flirting with Frenchie floozies. But he eventually comes around, even if he's never quite the same again.

I know a lot of us have said "Cullen = too virginal, won't work because of Alistair." Would you guys be on board for something like that? Would you want to encourage Cullen's dark side, or help him find healing and a non-brothel, non-Chantry identity?

I love this idea!  I would help him find healing definately.  but i'd at least make 1 play thru of a darker Cullen!   maybe more depending on how well they developed his character.

This waiting is a slow, agonizing torture.....I wish they could just tell us one tinsy-bitsy thing of Cullen.
Now I'm not even sure what to think anymore.

Greg Ellis is definitely doing DA voice work, but I'm just worried that he may have been mistaken about it being Cullen. He's voiced lots of random NPC's in the past - the love him there, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we're getting our Cullen. 

He may have been mistaken about that and that's why he removed the tweet. Sure hope not, though.

Or his agent called him up and said "Uh... Greg? Remember page 26 of the stack of papers you signed three weeks ago? The NDA? That tweet has got to go."

Like maybe he went into the booth thinking he was and then got told he wasn't cos he's not got enough time to do Cullen's full dialogue? Maybe. BUT the picture he took along with the tweet looked like he was midway through his lines and the script would have him say his name to introduce himself to the new protagonist anyway wouldn't it, not to mention the scripts always have a brief description of the character with the name, back story and details of what said character has been upto since the actor last played him. Also the people that sit in on the VO's always give them character details to help them get into the character.

Let's not forget the tweet he made a few days prior when Lonaargh asked him if he would be cling Cullen, he said he didn't know. Sounds to me like they gave him the script and he found out he was reading for Cullen, so he took a picture and tweeted it, then was told after to keep quiet about it and he thought "oops, better delete that quick!"

Yeah there was a computer screen behind him, the glare would have been to bright to see what was on it, which would have been the script he was reading from.

Either that or he minimised it so we couldn't see the script lol. Then again he might have just been about to start the script and had literally just been. Told that he was reading Cullen's dialogue.

We could ask him if he got in trouble for tweeting about it I guess? I'd like to think that if he had got it wrong and he wasn't doing Cullen's VO after all then he would have tweeted about it to apologise straight after since he would have literally found out at that moment.
