We have a Forbidden One on the loose, one of the ancient demons who supposedly taught humans blood magic. We fought Xebenkeck in DA2, and Gaxkang the Unbound in DAO. However, what is interesting is that this one, Imshael, identifies as a demon of choice.

 

Also, Felassan, the Dalish mage, has a boss that kills him at the end of novel...what's curious is that Fel tells this entity that Briala reminds him of his boss. And Fel spent much of the novel commenting on how like FEN'HAREL Briala is. And what's more, Felassan had to go to the freaking FADE to meet up with this guy, before his death.

We really don't get that kind of talk from anyone but LIs, do we?? Especially considering Cullen's character. I doubt he'd be saying such things lightly. It just makes sense he'd be a romance option with all that's been said.

Yea I kind of agree, even if this thread is giving me major migraines right now, I still think that what GE said its true I mean seriously why would he be lying? Sorry but I just dont like ppl messing with my head and tell me otherwise, if he will not be a companion then I will take  the cake of disappointment later but for now Im holding on to what Greg said

Michel wasn't really at fault. He, Celene, and Felassan had hoped to outsmart the demon, and got tricked. But the elves are still to blame for summoning the stupid thing. They reaped the consequences though, cause Imshael flayed them all alive and burned them from the inside out.

Sorry if I made you feel bad at all. I'm realizing that my responses tonight are pretty heavily influenced by non-game-related stuff that happened today, so I should really just stop talking because I have a very skewed perspective right now.

Well, guys, let me just say that I'm sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. When Greg asked if we had any questions about Cullen and I asked if he was romanceable/companion and he said yes, I thought he literally meant yes Cullen was Romanceable and a companion. I didn't think he was being funny I guess because I was so excited and I've waited for so long to hear something about it one way or the other... But I feel bad now because I got caught up in the excitement and didn't think that he might have been joking. I hope he wasn't, and it's true what he said, but it might not be, and so like I said, I'm sorry, y'all! It wasn't my intention to spread falsehoods, if that's what I did I don't even know. :/

Ok, let's look at the tweet in question:

Kelly says: "We must know if there's to be a romance and companionship"

Greg says: "YES"

It's entirely possible that he was being sarcastic/funny. Kelly never mentioned Cullen's name in that tweet, so he may have been trying to be clever, his "YES" meaning that there will be romance and companionship in the game in general.

Like that time someone asked Steve Valentine if "he" (Alistair) will be in DAI, and he replied with a joke saying that "he" (as himself, Steve Valentine) wouldn't be in DAI.

Greg Ellis was not lying, nor should you get upset about it. He was just trying to be a smart arse.

Damn, consequences indeed. I wonder if there's someone behind the scenes manipulating Imshael itself? Fen'Harel being a possibility is also not much of a surprise for me or well, anyone who knows of him really.
