Sooooo, really we haven't actually learnt anything new about Cullen's inclusion at all, LOL! 

 

Well it is nice to know for sure that he's in the game. It was a bit dizzying to go back and forth between "He is" and "He probably isn't".

We control the companions, though. So that could possibly count? ... We could ask?

 

If you'd like to, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that DG was talking about our Inquisitor. The PC is always going to have the most lines/sessions, so it's probably the most memorable for the devs to refer to.

I'd say Cullen probably hasn't recorded enough lines to be a companions, IF this coming session is his last, or he only has one or two left.

But please, keep refuting the claims, so we can poke holes in your arguments to prove that Cullen is a companion! Yay! Science!

 

Oooh! I thought of an optimistic* argument! 1. It's not a bad bet from GE's tweets that Cullen is (potentially) banging the Inquisitor. 2. We assume from Cullen's character that he is unlikely to do that casually. 3. An NPC might not know the Inquisitor all that well compared to a companion?

That's what I keep coming back to. The VO tweeting confirmation of Companion and/or LI status rather than Bioware seems really weird. It's the main thing that's keeping me from believing it.
