Maybe Mike Laidlaw will confirm/deny Cullen being a companion/LI at that romance panel he's doing at PAX soon? I can't believe they haven't said anything about all of this. Tis torture!

Yeah, agree with this You know him best. It could be that it was just a sudden surge of jealousy that he felt. I would not be initially pleased if a significant other said they had the hots for a video game girl. I might even notice how that girl has a trimmer tummy and more shapely lips then I do lol The irrational side of you isn't pretty. Who knows if he isn't kind of feeling bad for what he said and did.

Kinda awkward RL question here:  My husband got me started on Dragon Age and still loves it (but doesn't obsess in the "off season" like I do) so he normally enjoys when I gush about everything to him.  I told him about the Cullen tweets when he asked why I was so giddy and he got super negative.  I've barely ever mentioned Cullen to him and I certainly wasn't ranting about wanting in Cullen or Greg Ellis' pants, and we like to discuss all the romances (he loves Morrigan and Miranda) so this threw me off    Have any of you run into something like this before?

My hubs is pretty cool with all my fangirling...he knew what he was getting into when he married me! I've always been pretty passionate about my fandoms. He's seen all my smutty fanart, sketches etc. pertaining to Cullen and has no problems with it. He often teases me about all my 'black box boyfriends' when I play any BioWare game on the Play Station. Ironically, when Origins came out, he was the one who wanted it and I bought it for him! At the time I didn't even realize it was a BioWare game! I was actually the one who ended up playing it through on a whim and falling in love with it though.

I'm not sure what to say in regards to your situation though. Perhaps you just caught him on an off day?

I generally just try not to talk about my fictional crushes, I guess. But when they do come up in conversation my husband just gets a gigantic know-it-all smirk, because I don't have many geeky interests and he has a million, so now that I have a big one I can't feel all superior about being less of a nerd. (Not that it was anything more than joking to begin with. He just likes winning arguments.  )

He could always be reacting to someone else's raunch? I can imagine a decent range of ways that could go depending on who's talking and when it takes place...

Hope everything is alright with you! I just woke up and have to catch up on quite a few pages but don't feel too awkward about the situation. It's your right to feel the way you want too and I'm sure everything will sort itself out. 

 

ALSO, I just saw the tweet GE posted about the amount of time he spent in the recording studio and well....let's just say, necessary squealing ensued!
