I feel you. I went into origins not realizing that Wynne was a companion. Morrigan disapproved of me being nice to her, and I really wanted Morrigan's friendship, so I killed Wynne...

Sigh. Also somehow screwed up the Alistair romance even though I was playing as a human noble. I made a lot of mistakes going into origins... lol. I think i did DA2 blind as well. Not so much mass effect until the third one though.

In my first playthrough of Origins, I completely missed Leliana.  I played the whole game without her.  I was pretty angry with my stupid self when I figured it out.

Morrigan is so/so to please. I said what I wanted to her, and that usually resulted in friendship points. Actions on the other hand, she always disapproved of those... but thankfully, I could just shower her in jewelry!

Spoilers are bad. Wouldn't you want to experience it yourself?

 

I try to avoid the internet when a Bioware game comes out to avoid spoilers. I'd seriously be mad if someone spoiled a story-driven game for me like it happened in Heavy Rain. Completely killed the experience because I already knew the twist in the game.

sometimes spoilers are bad... but I kinda want to know if something bad is gonna happen so I can try to avoid it.. in ME1 wrex got killed.... and I couldnt save him cause I didnt do his quest,.... so that was a bummer

Yea I just got all the ME games and im playing it for the 1st time.. and aparantly something bad happens to Kaidan  and ppl dont wanna tell me what it is

 

I romanced Kaidan and it's not bad at all; in fact I love it. Adds drama to the relationship, and makes ME3 that much more special. Now I romanced him with a guy, and even though there's not real "romance" between them in ME, it is obvious that they took it out originally b/c there is still a connection between them. 

 

So as a fellow Kaidan romancer, I say go forth, it's no big deal, and just makes their relationship in ME3 that much more special.

 

Plus, Kaidan has a point.

 

p.s. Pick "reave" as your special ability.

If dying characters upsets you, you might want to spoil yourself before the final ME2 mission. Once you are given the go-ahead to do the final mission, go find a wiki or walkthrough and figure out what you have to do.

Nope, Fenris was the one thing I kept the wiki open for Completely missed poor Isabela, but the Fenris romance was utterly flawless. On retrospect, I barely even enjoyed it considering how paranoid I was that I'd missed some important dialog trigger or other.

I'm such a cheater. I had the guide with me the whole time. BUT ISABELA TOTALLY LEFT ME DURING ACT 2. So I wasn't meta-gaming too much during my first run. You bet your ass I did on the rest, though.
