First time posting here, but I had to share: I was awake at 4am CST checking out the DAI forums while nursing my 2-month-old when I stumbled on the GE tweets on the twitter thread... And scared my husband half to death when I smacked him in the face, startling him out of sleep to the hiss-squeals of "Baby! Babe! Cullen IS gonna be in Inquisition and maybe even a romanceable companion.... Why are you half fallen on the floor silly man? Oh... Was that your face... Sorry..."
...in my defense it was dark in the room and I thought I was patting /shoving his shoulder. <.< Really.

Anyway! Thought you fine folk here would understand. Now off to bed for me, I'll be back to lurking when the lil one us up again in the wee hours

LOL this is exactly how I feel   Marathon forum session GO!

 

Kinda awkward RL question here:  My husband got me started on Dragon Age and still loves it (but doesn't obsess in the "off season" like I do) so he normally enjoys when I gush about everything to him.  I told him about the Cullen tweets when he asked why I was so giddy and he got super negative.  I've barely ever mentioned Cullen to him and I certainly wasn't ranting about wanting in Cullen or Greg Ellis' pants, and we like to discuss all the romances (he loves Morrigan and Miranda) so this threw me off    Have any of you run into something like this before?

 

Edit: feels weird to bring this up here, but you are Cullen experts!

My boyfriend doesn't really care lol. I got him to play through DAO once and he played through ME3 once as well. He likes them and does remember the major characters (and pretty much universally likes them all) but doesn't participate in the fandom. He'll just ask me every now and then how the game seems to be shaping up and if any new trailers/companions have been revealed.

 

To be fair, if he ever did get weird on me for liking a Bioware character/romance, I could always throw the two weeks I had to play 20 questions about the Liara romance. Right after ME3 came out. The scars I had were too fresh, it was too soon.
