Now I want to tweet something!
But I have nothing to say! I just want to because I can.
I should go to bed instead of tweeting random stupid things.
I'm HannahHugsTrees if anyone wants to add me. (I wanted to use TreeHuggerHannah like my forum name but it was, alas, too long.)
Followed you!
Edit: Have a Cullen!

I was quite annoyed with the whole 'add X persons' and stuff from the Twitter tutorial... I just want to stalk a bit
Never got any response (for the one tweet I made XD), so I guess I've got that part working for me.
Speaking about Greg: I still haven't been able to spot him in The Hobbit... Ah well, guess I'll grab some Pirates of the Caribean instead, lol.
Even though I have played Awakening before, I did not mind Howden's voice for DA:2 Anders. It actually grew on me, and now I prefer Howden for Anders... Sorry! But I really loved happy trolling Awakening Anders... But it was distracting me: Cullens voice... on an apostate?! Does not fit... (I guess I'm silly like that...)
I have never missed companions during DA:O or DA:2, but than again... I try to have every single NPC to join my group... I actually even thought that the prisoner at Ostagar could join me, lol. And I agree that it was a bummer to lose Daveth as a companion... I thought he was a funny guy.
And again some very late response to an earlier discussion: I guess Iron Bull is actually a rogue (if he is a full companion at all... I still have my doubts about that, due the whole mercenary and 'leader of a group' background), instead of a warrior. The Arishok was a rogue too, even though he was wielding huge weapons. So far confirmed:
- Vivienne (mage)
- Solas (mage)
- Cassandra (warrior)
- Varric (rogue)
2 male, 2 female, 2/1/1 for mage/rogue/warrior.
With the whole concept art and magazines 'confirmation' we have the following for !maybecompanion (not including how likely they might be)
- Sera (rogue)
- Grey warden (warrior)
- Iron Bull (rogue/warrior)
- Cullen (warrior)
- Flaily hands / Cole / Any other possible companion
Have I missed anything? Anyway, so far there are 3 females that we have heard of, and at least 5 males. I actually think that the last group I mentioned (Flaily hands/Cole/etc) are the most unknown and least reliable. I don't think there will be a third mage, based on some dev remarks in the past that such composition would unbalance the game. With the tavern concept art in mind, I think that Grey Warden and Sera will be companions too. Making it 2/2/2. (male/female 3:3). So far I think it is very balanced, so I guess the ratio will turn out to be something like 2/4/3 or 2/3/4, with another (currently unknown) female companion somewhere in the pipeline.

In-universe, the Arishok was not a rogue: he was just programmed that way because it was the only way, in DA2, to have dual-wielding weapons. He's clearly some variant of warrior.
Also, a third mage would not unduly imbalance the game. And we desperately need another female companion.

Technically a rogue, but actually some kind of hybrid? I mean: Barkspawn and Shale were technically warriors in DA:O, but not quite the standard type. I did not picture him as a thief-stereotype-rogue or something
Sorry if I was not clear.
And personally I don't mind a third mage either, it's just something I recall the devs have said.
I think mages are varied enough to make a full-mage party fun, so I'd be totally happy if my theory is proven wrong. Actually I don't really see why 'imbalance' would be an issue, as it is all PVE anyway.

Interesting. Is there any mention of characters that we know will be in DAI, besides Leliana and the Empress?

Too funny! I was up feeding my three month old when I checked my Twitter feed and caught the GE tweet frenzy!
Welcome to the board! It's always great when people delurk to share in all that is Cullen.
Lol. My 3 weeks old baby is currently sleeping in my lap while I surf the forum. There is no way that I can keep up with the thread but I do enjoy swinging by when I get a moment. Love all the new Cullen-info!

When I made a twitter account, within the first ten minutes after writing my first tweet (how excited I was for DAI) I got a reply from Mike Laidlaw and at that moment I knew I had to keep my account and just get used to it's weirdness. I was freaking out when I saw he replied and I still do when I get replies/favorites from the devs or NOW voice actors! It's a good way to stay informed in an instant. Hope you can get used to it, it's rewarding sometimes
Good luck!
Wahhhh, why do they like you so much?? ![]()
