as far as the whole npc LI thing, where did we get that idea? I mean, did BW themselves ever hint at that being an option they were exploring? Or have we just head canoned that?

 

Cuz if Ellis is/has recorded raunchy lines, etc. it sounds like LI stuffs to me. And as far as I know, the DA team hasn't stated they would do any npc LI's. Sooo, sounds to me like Cullen is a companion and LI.

Well I don't know if any of the Devs have talked about it but in Mass Effect 3 there were npc romances that weren't companions so maybe that's where we got it.

 

DG has said he doesn't want to do NPC romances, so that's the one thing that's making me fear Cullen is indeed an NPC and un-romanceable.
