Honestly, I think either could be problematic, although the NSFW stuff moreso. (All character forums have their off-topic moments, although we do tend to indulge our flights of fancy more than most.)

Worst comes to worst, they could move us to the Off Topic lobby, which I would be okay with. I think it would be really wrong and quite mean to simply lock the thread for going off topic.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I think I'm saying don't post anything you would be embarrassed to show GE. We should be avoiding NSFW stuff anyway, or at least putting it in a link. As far as being completely OT... I'm really not sure, but if some dev were to close us down now, I'd be pretty flippin' mad. So perhaps a more concerted effort to get us back on topic couldn't hurt either.

Agreed. I don't think it's terrible that we go off topic, but we do linger off topic. Although, part of that is because there are quite a few of frequent this thread, and we all have something to say.

So, I'm tracking the hashtag #Cullenites now on Twitter. /snicker And now I keep wanting to start another play through. I've only played through all of Origins once, and I didn't know what the hades I was doing, but I can't settle on a class. Boo. /gamer problems

I kind of think that when we were more obscure, we had greater leeway for being OT and overly... Scandalous. But with the news coming out, more strangers will wander in here so keeping it OT and adhering to the guidelines more will be expected... Lest a 13 year old wander in and get a glimpse of something they shouldn't or someone feels frustrated that we're not discussing Cullen. I just think, that we will be expected to be the sane and fun but harmless kind of crazy we have been claiming to be. Getting too crazy could cause drama right now, sadly... :/

That's a sad truth, maybe. While we have lurkey fans who silently track the thread, we probably also have people looking for things to take out of context. Maybe we don't, and I'm overblowing our importance *grin*, but I've already seen some snipey bullshit on Tumblr regarding this week's Cullen news, and I'd like not to *help* the naysayers, ya know?

Hopefully the hair's a tad better. As much as I bum over this picture, the hair does look dodgily photoshopped on.

I think his hair will be darker. No reason besides Varric's sudden change in hair color. I hope not, though: I'm really fond of blond-hair/brown-eyes as a combination.

I was thinking the same thing--it looks from Cassandra, etc. like they might actually sculpt it with a lot more detail, rather than putting a texture on a smooth hair-mass... but I guess that could just as easily be a party vs. NPC thing.

I don't think there's anything to worry about there, judging by the characters we've been shown so far. I would quite like to see a proper curl to his hair though.
