Meh, all I know is that I still don't know what's going on with the whole companion/LI thing, so nothing's changed for me. I just want to enjoy this excitement of him being in the game and the remaining possibility of him being a companion/LI while I still can. I'll deal with crushed hopes and dreams later.

Oh, yeah, that definitely helps - I even went into the toolset the other night to see how many lines companions had in DAO to see what his chances were. Counting just the lines in the main follower dialogue files, I'd say his chances are good, but it's still not an official confirmation.
If he's an LI, I hope they don't mess with him too much! I like that he's not... super pretty? He looks like a normal dude. I like that.
