I usually don't get on the forums for a while until I'm done with some playthroughs. So when DLC/expansion suspicion comes around, I'll be ready.

Ooooo, where you going?
Scotland to study History and archaeology or maybe international politics!
I guess I'll decide by the time I get a reply from all the unis I applied to.

Those are actually my two main gripes. I can deal with a ratio of 5 men and 4 women, but 6 to 3? That's ridiculous. I want a female dwarf rogue or just a female dwarf companion in general
Don't worry, I heard that Solas will be a hermaphrodite to balance out the ratio. ![]()

I think the point DG was trying to make is that we shouldn't take the rumours of Cullen's companion status as gospel when nothing has been confirmed yet. Basically it's damage control.
This is how I took it. I didn't see a clear no. (Obviously nor is it a yes.) I pretty much just took it at face value: Nothing is confirmed, so don't pin your hopes on it. Frankly I think that's a good reality check when the rumor mill can blow things out of proportion.
The post doesn't really change my opinion of Cullen's chances as companion and/or LI. I think he has a chance but not a certainty.
Are you going to play it alone? Or with friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands/wifes etc..
Are you going to play it in one big session (like taking a week off from work/school etc..
Will you be focused mainly on the game or are you also visiting the forums and discuss/share certain events?
Alone. I live by myself, and even if that weren't the case I prefer to keep the experience of the story as my own.
I'll be playing it over a span of time rather than in one big chunk. I'm thinking of taking a day off work on the release date, but after that I'll probably play for awhile when I get home each night.
I'll drop by the forums (mainly this thread) to be social but try to avoid forum spoilers.
You know something I thought of for the first time during the discussion this afternoon. Given the extra variety of race choice we have for our PC this time 'round... what if they plan on giving us one LI per race? Or more LIs than usual to have a spread of racial LI options? I mean, in practice most players I know will romance anyone with anyone. But, what if they wanted to let you romance a dwarf (Varric) with your dwarf, and a qunari (IB) with your Qunari? Instead of only giving human and elf options this time...
I like the idea of having more than four romances to accommodate the fact that there are more playable races. I would want any of them to be available to a PC of any race (hey, if your Qunari digs dwarves, the heart wants what the heart wants!) and I don't think it would be practical to have LIs of both genders for every race just because the numbers would get unwieldy - but I do think it would be a good opportunity to widen the romance pool and have a couple more options than in the past.
I'm trying to think about how Cullen's romance could go, whether he's a "cuddler" or an "ass-kicker". I think he'll be more ass-kicker than cuddler, really.
I think he's both: ass-kicker in public and cuddler behind closed doors! ![]()
I see Cullen as being quite the romantic at heart, but I think it would take some time to get him to reveal that side of himself.

Are you still doing your undergrad at the moment?

No, not like that. I think you buy it at a store at the citadel.
You get it at Huerta Memorial Hospital at the kiosk directly across from the receptionist behind a desk and in front of her is a human woman complaining about the name of the hospital. As soon as you get out of the elevator, go straight a tiny bit and you'll see what I mean. It offers liquor for Kaidan and medi gel upgrades.

I'm a junior in college, in the States, with a major in Chinese, and studying abroad is a great chance to explore and experience a different place or culture. Plus, it shakes up the monotony of the college experience.

Wow, you people are making me feel old!
It's ok, they are making me feel lame for not even majoring in anything yet at my community college. ![]()
I'm only taking a core computer class too. It's really quite boring and everything is graded by some online program. It is nearly impossible to actually really pass the class with anything higher than a C. ![]()

In about 8 hours from now the Bioware panel discover the dragon age, q&a will start at Pax east!
OOO YAY! I'll have something to look forward to when I get out of class. THe whole thing will be long over and I don't have to be on the edge of my seat! lol.
But are they recording it? Or is Ladyinsanity the only source we'll get?

In regards to PAX
Best bet is Lady Insanity, a DA YouTuber who goes and writes down and posts everything pertinent to her website immediately.
First Dragon Age panel is Friday at 10:30 EST - 12 Noon, entitled: : Discover the Dragon Age Panel + Q&A.
Also, I would suggest following her Twitter.
During PAX Prime, she tweeted while she was watching the the demo, before she could get back to her computer and type it all up.
