And yeah, I get that allllll the time. I always always always get carded. Sometimes it's annoying but considering the alternative, I'd rather look younger than someone say, "DAYUM, you're 27?! You look at least 37!"
Plus, I'm 5'1" so I don't think that helps my case.
I'm about 5'8 and still occasionally have people ask me where my parents are.
I look young too. Once I took a cab to a job interview at an elementary school and the driver thought I was a student. 
I always get carded for smokes and alcohol too. 'Tis truly a shame.

I forgot to hit quote, but I meant to reply to socks. I have about 7 inches on her and still get mistaken as a child, so added height doesn't really help.
Though where I live in particular is a bit funny too since I am usually a giant compared to most of the people. Most women are lucky if they break the 5 foot range and guys clock out at about 5'5.
