I'm about 5'8 and still occasionally have people ask me where my parents are.

I look young too. Once I took a cab to a job interview at an elementary school and the driver thought I was a student. :( I always get carded for smokes and alcohol too. 'Tis truly a shame.

And I'm 5'6", though I doubt it matters. I know 12 year old girls taller than I am.

WOW now THAT'S looking super young! Lol. I took a cab last year from my hotel to Walgreens when I was in town back home for my dad's funeral and the cabbie asked me if my parents knew I was taking a cab someplace, and when I replied I was 26 (at the time) he had me pull my driver's license out to show him my birthday! And I was like, "btw my dad just passed away so I don't think he cares" :/ silly cabbies.

Edit: I took a CAB not a CAN -_-

You know a good majority of people (all male, for the most part) on my dad's side of my family clock out at about that height (6'3 ish), give or take. The amount of discomfort they speak of while trying to do mundane tasks such as driving makes me glad I stopped where I did.

Speaking of heights, it'd be rad if companions were able to get their own unique heights set apart from the models all NPCs get for their respected gender/species.

Lol! One of the children I look after is almost as tall as me and he's 7. Yeeeeeah. I get some weird looks when I take him and his sister to school and pick them up, they probably think they're my kids and I had them when I was like 12 or something. I try to talk to them but they don't return the manners. Oh well. It's even worse when it's "muffins with mom day" or something similar and their mom is busy at work so I have to fill in... I'm surprised no one has asked me yet.

Lol, do you want to be the reason for a stampede of girls/dudes to your location? Those are dangerous words, mister! :P

*cough* I like Fenris just the way he is...  :?

Have you played ME3? I haven't actually tried either romance, but I certainly felt like Shepard had a wonderful friendship with Cortez, and I could have been very happy with that developing into a relationship (were it not for the dead husband thing, plus the build-up to Kaidan worked better for me).

I felt like I got to know Traynor not as well, however. She could've used a few more lines, a story arc, something.

But I think an NPC romance can be done very well indeed.

Yeah, played ME3 more times I care to admit but I never tried their respective romances. Now when I think about it, it is probably because I never played it without importing, so there was always someone already there. I haven't played single in ME1-2 Shep yet, not strong enough :] In this respect DAI would be easier, cause we start with different character, still I really like to take my pc's LI everywhere with me, so this is probably source of my doubt.

I'm 27. *weeps*

Don't cry!  I'll be 27 in November and I also graduated in '05.  I was 5'8" at 15 though, and that's about the time 25+ year old men started asking me out and inviting me to bars.  The "Umm, I don't think my mom's cool with that" moment was always awkward :P  I must not appear to have aged much since then though since whenever I take my kids to the park other parents talk to me like I'm a babysitter.

And seriously, 6'3" and 6'5"?!  All the tall men have been hiding in the Cullen thread this whole time, damn!

Edit

Speaking of heights, it'd be rad if companions were able to get their own unique heights set apart from the models all NPCs get for their respected gender/species.

I love this idea!  Anything to make the companions more unique and personalized :)

OMG I JUST GOT TO HORIZON and Kaidan has been stabbed by a beee.. aww maaaan.. damn it why do I always have to save his ass ehy cant he save me for once

Yeah, be prepared it is not the last time. I blame the fact that broShep players don't like to be saved :DD and the fact that Kaidan is often replaced by Ashley does not make things easier. Still, Shep is just a character that helps everyone. That is whole point of ME2 extravaganza and it starts getting funny with 12 followers...

OMFG KAIDAN YOU ********** SON OF A ******  WHY DID YOU DO SUCH A THING YOU ************* i CANT BELIEVE  YOU DID THIS TO ME ***********  BASTARD ********* WHY?????????? ***********

Heh, I have my ME2 first pt flashback :D Now I metagame this convo cause as as much as I hated Kaidan's lines on Horizon I hated my Shep's even more (What's up bro, how've you been????). That is a sole reason why my first Shep went practically full on renegade from that moment. She was pissed and she wanted everyone to know about it.... Back to the point, I think that payback of the Kaidan romance arc is better if you don't romance anybody in ME2 (it will save you raging over his lines if you "cheated"), also Jacob's and Thane's romances have sad conclusions in ME3. You can go for Garrus (I <3 him too!) but he has quite a good bro dynamic with your pc without being li, whilst Kaidan def benefits from romancing :)

Wow, I guess it's way harsher if you play a FemShep lol I remember really loving that scene.

I remember loving that scene cause I was waiting for Kaidan to show up and was like "man, you look goood... what were you saying?" :D

Scotland to study History and archaeology or maybe international politics! :D I guess I'll decide by the time I get a reply from all the unis I applied to.

I'm studying abroad in Edinburgh. Bio stuff mostly.

Wow guys, so awesome. I love Scotland. So excited for you! I lived in Edinburgh for a while, it will be... hmm, almost 10 years ago. But I still have a bunch of friends there and the city is beautiful. @Eric, will you be studying at the University of Edinburgh? I was considering doing my post-grad there (cognitive and neural systems) but changed my mind, lol.

I forgot to say I'm 24, though I'm far less accomplished than most of you, I'm afraid. I was raised by vagrants.

I always wanted my parents to be wandering vagabonds* but they stubbornly stuck to one place. Anyway, I have almost ten years on you and I am not very accomplished either. I mean traditionally accomplished. I grant myself awards every now and again for minor and major life achievements :D

*I hope I am not rubbing it in, cause Internet is strange to read. I just found your post very endearing.

I know someone who is starting at Edinburgh University for psychology next year. Either Edinburgh or Glasgow. We're both studying psychology but I wasn't up for the extra costs of a course in Scotland. Still got into a great university though, can't wait.

I'm beginning to think i'm the only one that didn't hate how things went down on Horizon, hell my Shep agreed with him. I felt his reaction was justified in all honesty. I also love companions that are enough of their own person that they don't blindy follow the protaganist when it goes against their own beliefs and principles. All throughout ME2 my Shep felt manipulated and trapped by Cerberus, she never truly bonded with any of the Cerberus crew, and iff there had been any alternative you can bet your boots she would have grabbed it in a second. Buut, I know this is a contentious issue and one i'm fairly on my own with. I do feel that many players would have responded differently though iff the letter had been an audio log like Raphael had recorded, so much so that I would definately recommend to a new player to play that once they receive his letter, instead of just reading it. Raphael done a fantastic job with it, and really brought home the feels . Such a shame it wasn't done like that originally.

Still, ME3 heals all wounds ;)

OT but.. how old are you guys? Just out of curiosity, I'd be interested to know.

*let's dig up old topics* 28 here. And I am so jealous of all of you going to study abroad... I've spent my whole study close at home. Ah well... since quite a few are in Europe then... meet up at gamescom? :wizard:

Edit: And speaking about lenghts... I'm 1,57 m (which is about 5'1" ish?), so I join the RL dwarf-club XD And I often get either 20-ish or 30+... *sigh*
