It wasn't a mindcontrol, it was an invisibility spell Cole had castReznore57 wrote...
I think the litany breaks mind control spell...
I'm not actually sure it does anything to a demon , it's just a spell breaking thing .
Seems like Rhys was mind controled by Cole , from the POV of Cole in the book , It seems he himself isn't aware of it ,and the lithany seemed to made him realise things (mind controlled too?)
But Cole has a lot of problem with his magic ,being invisible might also be a spell he cast without realising it.
Or he may be an abomination who doesn't know he's one.
" Lord Seeker Lambert used the Litany to dispel an invisibility spell placed by Cole upon himself and Rhys when they ran into him inside the dungeons of the White Spire."
I'm thinking Cole is somewhat the same as Justice. Ish.

DG posted in an interview that Asunder was one of the best examples of how a mage can accidentally and unknowingly allow a demon to possess them in a moment of weakness, and I honestly can't think who he'd be talking about besides Cole. So... yeah, still have no clear idea though. There was a real Cole, but he supposedly died. So present-day Cole has got to be some kind of spirit/demon that fused with him before the end or took his body, because he's still corporeal and has Cole's memories. Craziness.
What I don't understand is how innocent Cole seems (all murder aside) - but if he's just a confused and generally benign Fade spirit, how is it he's been using blood magic all this time? Fade spirits don't seem to do that.
EDIT: Didn't mean to encourage us to get off-topic -- there are already a couple Cole threads already.
And who wants to talk about Cole when you can talk about Cullen, eh?

... sounds like we're going to get a chance to play the Grand Game! I hope there's a Bard in the party.

I don't know... we had 10 in the basic ME2, and none seemed to be used to their full potential. Even DAO had some rather redundant-seeming characters, to me. I'd happily take a smaller roster to flesh everyone out more.mayrabgood wrote...
Wow, up to 10 companions! If that's true then that's awesome! I was a bit worried that the companions leak thing would be real and those were the companions we would be stuck with because they seemed a bit...bland. But if we can have 10, then those bland peeps can come along too haha.

Oh..I didn't think about that. Yeah I guess I prefer a smaller group with more fleshed out characters. As long as Cullen is one of them I'll be really happy

OK, "Working at the Horse Wash Blues" is posted. It is rated "Explicit" because it gets a bit smutty in places and I figure better safe than sorry.

The thing is... Based on those leaked pics, there were eight companions already! So leaving only room for two additional, potentially "non-bland" followers, if those leaked pics are real.mayrabgood wrote...

Ah, well done my dear. Indeed, rather dark. Found myself wondering if Cullen would really do that... Then deciding, sadly, he might.berelinde wrote...

Heh, sure is hard not to talk about those alleged leaks... OK go-go Lola question time!
Here's an inferior question as she thinks of one... Berelinde's story got me thinking... Do you want to see Cullen dealing with his lyrium addiction in DA3? Should they acknowledge and brush it under the rug? Or address it full on, with him experiencing symptoms and doing desperate things for a fix? What would you prefer?

Heh. Maybe that was the source of the leaked concept art? (Personally, I'm inclined to say no, but that's just me.)
Like the logo, though. It's shiny, but it does look like a natural progression from the ][ they used for DA2.
And thanks, guys! That ficlet is darker than I've gone in a long, long time, and I was afraid that I overdid it.
