Just a Wild guess, but in the (I hope not) case Cullen is available to female PC only, Cassandra would likely be the heterosexual LI as well, in my opinion.
Seems doubtful, given that she has the same "romantic" line in DA2 for both genders of Hawke. What I'd dearly hope for is for Vivienne to be the straight LI if this is the case.

There's a lot of possible misunderstanding that happens through word of mouth, so unless it's coming from someone who I know is reputable like LadyInsanity, I'm still not considering it as confirmed. For example, some people who are shouting that he was confirmed as both may just be assuming the latter because of only being able to romance companions in the past. Mind you, I still believe very highly that he is, but until I know for sure I'm not taking it as gospel.

fair enough I see where your coming from.. I suppose we will have to wait untill they will release the video from pax to actually be more excited if he is a companion... but either way im still super excited that he is a romance... faints for the 5th time...
That said, if they didn't go playersexual, methinks it would be Cassandra and Cullen who were the straight options. Especially since they seem set to be the 'canon LIs' like Morrigan and Alistair were with this confirmation. *rollseyes*
I know that having "canon LI's" are bad, but, on the other hand. Cullen as a canon LI means he would be in deep with the story.

Perhaps the tumblr-ers heard that Cullen was LI (I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN TYPE THAT HEEEEE) and just assumed LI = Companion. We know this isn't necessarily the case.
