Hmm, odd. I mean, don't the Grey Wardens have a places that got nuked by the Veil? Wasn't that in a video or something released last year? Having a Grey Warden companion makes sense.

I'm inclined to agree. The fact that Cullen was confirmed as a romance at the same time as Cassandra is making me lean heavily towards him being a companion now. A complete turnaround from what I thought this morning. Iff he is, then i'm just not seeing that there's room for Beardy

Either that, or my original suspicion that IB isn't a companion is correct. We have seen alot of him in screenshots and the like, but he's always on his own....

I just keep seeing a lot of Cullen's in. Beardface and IB are the ones moved about a lot, with Beardface usually getting the cut.

 

I personally don't know what to think anymore. It's weird I was so sure he was a companion until his confirmation as a LI.

Yep, that's the thing that's throwing me.

 

It all hinges on whether Cullen is in or not.

I suppose with him it's possible to turn him into a rogue... I mean, hypothetically if he was to leave the Order there's nothing stopping him going a bit stealth, lol.

They're both in a fair amount of concept art. 

 

In favour of Cullen the Companion:

Hepler apparently wrote a LI (and a follower?) before she left. This may have then been passed to another writer.

He's a LI. There have been no NPC romances in DA to date, and no mention of the approval system extending to NPCs as of yet.

Sizeable role according to GE.

 

Against:

He may have been downgraded.

Too many warriors, assuming inclusion of IB and Beardface.

Yep haha. Other possibilities: IB is a rogue/not a companion. Kind of unlikely but whatever.
