Man... where is our potato wagon??  I want to know how we get from town to town. Do they run along beside our horse, ride in a wagon so we can banter and canoodle, or take the subway?

Well, it's a bloody big sword Iron Bull is carrying if he's a rogue!

 

So we've got

 

Warrior - Cass, Iron Bull, Beardy or Cullen

Mage - Viv, Solas, unknown

Rogue - Varric, Sera, X

 

Are we sure Beardy is a warrior?  Duncan was a rogue and leader of the Grey Warden's in Fereldan.  We've seen Cullen as a warrior in DA2, so I can't see them changing that about.

 

Damn it, I don't want non-companion romance Cullen!  I want tied at the hip, lots of conversations, romance Cullen.  Why is everything so shrouded in mystery all the time!

Apparently they plan to talk about the horses/mounts soon, dunno if that'll be at PAX though.

Yeah, that's why I'm confused. They said Tal-Vasoth. Hmm

You know, I'm sure the Tal Vashosh vs Vashoth thing is the same thing as calling our Inquisitor qunari. I bet even the devs are using the terms interchangeably. DG only mentioned the "Vashoth" thing as an aside even when he mentioned it.

Who was on the panel? Unless Mary Kirby was there, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a genuine mistake.

You know, I'm sure the Tal Vashosh vs Vashoth thing is the same thing as calling our Inquisitor qunari. I bet even the devs are using the terms interchangeably. DG only mentioned the "Vashoth" thing as an aside even when he mentioned it.

Vashoth means we're not of the Qun
Tal-Vashoth means we're not of the Qun and actively oppose it. Something that usually results in only attacking innocent civilians who just want to go about their lives.

Evidence so far has suggested the bearded warden is a companion, unfortunately. I hope he's only temporary because, as you've said, I wouldn't want an NPC romance if they can't follow you around and provide insight and party banter. Traynor and Cortez for incredibly boring romances in ME3 for that reason alone.

Well there's nothing to say that DA can't do non-companion romances well. I'm not sure how they would compare to companion romances but that's not to say they can't be awesome in their own right, also we don't know how much time we'll be spending in the hubs and really what there role is.

However, there's nothing to say that they are going to do non-companion romances in DAI at all!

So basically the numbers for companion class don't stack up unless one of our assumptions is radically wrong or they are including non follower romances.

That's what I'm thinking too. I just hope they haven't changed it since Gaider had to correct himself. I just REALLY don't want my qunari to be one of those Tal-Vashoth.

The only time it's ever shown is in DA Legands. I haven't been able to find a picture of it, and I really don't want to take the time to go through and play that game again. 

 

 

From what I remember, i'ts like a lizard-cat-thing, and it fights along side the Qunari. And it's large enough to be a mount. It is the EXACT color of the thing in that picture, and has the same face.
