The only reason I'd want to call it sooner rather than later is I'd hate for some random person to start a Cullen discussion thread, and as someone stated before we wouldn't have access to the OP plus it could be a troll/flame thread that someone starts just to yank at our chains. I'm ok with waiting though if you guys want, I'd hate for anyone to feel left out of the vote.

Do we know for sure that we can keep -this- thread if a new one is made? I mean, one would figure. He -was- a character in DA2 afterall, and this is called "Knight-Captain Cullen". I just want to make sure if a new one is made, they won't decide this one is unnecessary.

it's true. at pax confirmed by laidlaw, i think. Cass and Cullen are LI's.

 

now, unfortunately, everyone is worried/speculating that cuz they did not specifically come out and say cullen was a companion, he may be an npc romance.

 

idk. maybe bw did not realize they would have to spell it out for us in such granular fashion.

 

(although, they kinda do w/all the misinfo and half truths we've gotten from diff mags and what not lately. clarity would be awesome.)

Oh man... we heard this morning. LadyInsanity tweeted it live from the PAX panel where MLaw announced it. Cullen and Cass are romanceable. No confirmation on whether he's also companion.

There's no reason they would close it. The DA:O character threads are all still open.

Well Alistair made a small appearance in DA2 and his thread is still open in DAO. So I don't imagine them closing this one.

 

There could be a new one made. I would go there. But I will still frequent this one.

I think we should keep this thread active for as long as possible. Not only will any new thread be an open invitation to haters, but we'll also be likely put under heavier scrutiny from moderators, meaning less fun OT discussions. Which will be sorely missed. So I'm up for either 1 or 3, just don't move it.

So here's the thing... I don't think we can start a new one until Jessica's on board and can ensure we don't get locked down. There are already Cullen threads there, and I don't want random biomods telling us to go talk in those. That's why we asked her to begin with.
