The decision's probably already been made, but I'd vote for not moving this thread. The mods might be watching the Inquisition forums more closely, and they might not be so lenient with us about going off-topic, posting too many pictures/gifs, or being too "raunchy" (heheh) over there. I'd hate to see this huge thread end up locked down.

I'm excited to hear about the other characters that will be in game. Regardless if they are NPC or companions or what have you. They just seem to really be taking their time with this game and I'm really excited. The amount of detail that's going into everything. I'm sure that even the quests will have me wanting to search for someones missing pantaloons lol.

 

And the fact that they are saying that all of the characters you talk to don't have some crappy little cameo like in DA2...someone take my money and give me this game already lol!

 

And the Veil. Dear Maker. I'm excited. I want to see Cullen's reaction to that.

I think we'll have to see how it goes. I can't imagine that thread being ready for celebrations for a while, since it'll be filled with "OMG CULLYPIE I LURVE HIM" and "I JUST MURDERKNIFED HIM! HA!" for a while. That's why we'll have this one. Or if it's more tame there, then we can celebrate at page 100. And page 5000 here. :shrug: 

 

It also could be premature to start a thread there. We don't know if there will be official subforums or not. It would be nice to have slightly more official confirmation of what he is/isn't in the game. But I think we should have an official hub there. We DESERVE one. Cullenites should get to come out of the shadows. We've earned it.

It's a bit of a disappointment that Cullen is a LI but not a companion, but I guess it's better than nothing. I count it as a win for Cullenites.

I don't think it was confirmed that he's not a companion.

 

Even if he isn't I think we'll still get a great story with him.

 

But yes, I would love him as a companion too. I think it might happen because he's got tones of training that would help in battle.

That's true, we have been in the shadows for a while.. I guess im just... worried that everyone will just come in  and bash the fan base witch I would really hate, that was kind of my main concern, but i suppose its time for us to get to the surface

Cullen hasn't been confirmed as a companion, but he hasn't been confirmed as not a companion either.

we don't actually know that Cullen is not a companion. there's this rumor that BW/DA may be doing non-follower romances, but that mechanic being implemented into DAI has not actually been visited by the devs themselves.

DG actually came in and squashed that idea. He said she could still very well be a companion.

Not sure if it's too late yet but I vote for choice 1. This is my safe haven...but so far the Cullen as LI reception hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.
