David Gaider ominous tweet:

davidgaider: "I used to think it was difficult to be offended by everything, but whatever effort that requires some folks on Tumblr have *nailed* it."

Upsettingshorts: "You realize this tweet is just gonna be filed under "more evidence" right?"

davidgaider: I'm pretty sure *that* ship has sailed."

Hm, survey leak reference maybe?

When would I like my new char to meet Cullen...

Hmmm that's a tuffy...If he has a big part in the main story arch, I would say right at the beginning somehow. Maybe being a mage, after the blast, the chantry wanting to dispose of me...Mr.Cullen is all noble and has the big NO for that. Could be interesting. What if the story is taking place a few years after Kirkwall, he could be a Knight Commander by then, he would have some say over me being killed or not.

If I played as a rogue, it would be neat to meet up with him on the terms that I was doing something for the chantry some how. Don't know how that would work. But maybe I was on a mission or something for them...

I'm wondering if his Templar title will mean anything in DA3 if all the circles are gone from the mages rebelling and the Templars have broken away from the Chantry, I dunno if I can see him siding with the rebelled Templar group.

... Just a thought, maybe we will meet him with the rebel Templars and he'll join us from there? His leaked concept outfit does still have him wearing the Templar insignia.

Either/Or wouldn't surprise me!

A worrying tweet by Upsettingshorts:

"Oh crap, I got involved in a BSN thread. If it's a preview for my posting when DA3 is announced then it looks like I leveled up in "mad."

Then someone replied saying: "Oh man, it's gonna be great when the forums for the next DA game come up. Nostalgia bomb with a hint of embitterment."

... Concerning. :-S

I think so....I kind feel bad for him though. Ppl are gonna talk and it's not always true, some of it bugs you and some of it doesn't...I can really relate to this with the crap that's going on for me right now. So I feel bad for him, to know that you're working so hard, to only have a 'surprised' truth told, or maybe all lies spilled, is upsetting. And knowing no matter what he says will be taken into account that it's evidence of them trying to cover up anything. Annoying is all I can say lol

Yeah, it's not easy having people pick holes in something you've worked hard to create. I'd love to know what he read on Tumblr that offended him though.

Where do all these leaks keep coming from? Is Bioware really so careless (or they really wanna see our reactions) or are people just terribly bored?

Either people are terribly bored or they're planning on announcing it soon.

...I'm hoping for the latter. Ha.

I was thinking Bioware were the culprits in all this leakage, as a "little bbies, fear not, it shall come." but who ever knows in situations like this.
The logo looks legit buuuut some people are talented.
one of those character designs looks creepishly like a templar-ishCullen, so, I'm a little more than half sold on it

I'm in two minds about the leak, I can't decide if it's real or fake. I think part of me wants it to be real because it suggests that Cullen will be a companion lol.

That tweet from Gaider was about Tumblr people and their social justice ramblings about why dwarves are not romancable.

Thats one of the things I hate about Tumblr...The social justice bullies that take offense to every little thing.

I read my sister in laws blog because there is just no way I could handle it

I'm not really all that hyped about the "leaks" to be honest. At the very most I'll give it a polite smile and a "That's nice". It won't influence whether or not I'm buying the game anyway. I mean, even if Cullen weren't in the game I'd still buy and play it, and in all likelihood enjoy it a lot. I'll see the game when I see it :) Although the Cullen speculation is awesome <3

Was thinking last night (while lying in the frigging heat) how much I'd be bothered if they'd make a game that was completely in the open from the beginning. And I concluded that it might actually be fun to see for once how much time it takes to make a game from beginning to end and what that all entails..

Okay, I'll stop rambling now.

I've signed up to ToLuna (the site that was suggested to have the leaked survey) and it's very clear on there that anyone can make a survey about anything they want? So...why aren't more people questioning it's reliability in that sense? Any DA fan could have just come along and made up a survey based on a plausible storyline and characters and went from there.

The more I learn about it the more I think Bioware just aren't stupid enough to release a marketing survey in this fashion. I refuse to believe if they published a questionniare that way, no one in their marketing department could come up with the possibility a fan would come across it and leak it. I work in marketing - that's just not done... So either it's fake or their marketing department needs a swift kick up the rear. :P

OR the leak was intended. Always a possibility...

That's pretty much what I've been saying from day one. The fact that the storyline and potential companions identically matched suggestions the OP has made in the past didn't hurt..

Starbuux: Yeah I finally managed to log into it too and I was thinking the same thing. I wanna know more details about the survey, like who posted it, the date it was posted etc. I dunno how the people that took it were able to find it easily when the rest of us can't, one or two of the posters managed to take the survey twice and another took two different versions of it.

I've also looked to see if any of the 'subtitles' suggested have been registered as domains and nada.

'The Breach', 'Exarch', 'Inquisition', 'Inquisitor' and 'Apocrypha' were 'suggested' in said survey but if you try www.dragonage(insertsubtitlehere).com for any of them, none exist. If they were truly going to use any as a subtitle they'd have registered it WAY before now. That was the major reason TES fans knew Skyrim was where the most recent game was going to be set...

You know I love to speculate and all, but I'm also kinda miffed over alleged leaks. I'd rather have a tiny morsel of official news over this conspiracy theory nonsense. Esp since I would hate for any kind of premature leak to jeopardize the actual game and info release schedule. :?

So given all the leak excitement, here's another question.

I've seen a lot of concern about spoilers for DA3. Anyone here abstaining and worried about that? If so, what are your strategies?

I have no strategies....I'm kind of obsessed .
Like resisting to clic on this paticular post for 2 weeks because it has "Spoilers about the whole game" in the title.
And then in the middle of night the waking up , and wondering in my bed "what was the link all about...".
Usually I give up , I read almost everything , I remember for DA 2 ,I read the spoilers found in the demo , like the chantry going boom....I just said to myself "brain, forget about that" ...I kept on reading the threat ...But i was kind of hiding my eyes , like for a horror movie , everytime a big  spoiler came up.
I'm pathetic that way....

I don't bother abstaining from spoilers. I habitually buy the game guide and read it cover to cover before I begin playing so that I don't miss any quests. I don't play video games or read books because I expect to be surprised. I do it because I like the story and want to enjoy it. Possibly for the eighth time.

I like to know who the LIs are and the basic ending of such romance (ie happy, bittersweet etc). Getting kicked in the magenuts in DAO taught me that particular lesson...

I don't know it's kind of funny not knowing...when i bought DA0 , i read a bit about it ...and i catch some talking about the dark ritual....
Anyway i was romancing Alistair , Morrigan made her proposal ....I was like , I'm sure people were exagerating, it's gonna be fine....So i tell Morrigan to get lost.

Then Riordan died , hu ho , well i'm sure it's gonna be fine...Alistair and my pc in front of the Archdemon. Alistair "I have to do it" me "No, no, no!"....Alistair died...
I replayed the scene like four time , trying different things....but nothing worked ...
It was awful :D I felt like i just lost ...

Anyway , it was funny .First playthrought are fun and always very dramatic for me . In DA2 my LI , Fenris died too ...I force myself to reload and side with the templar for him to live ...but he didn't love me and left me in the end anyway.( I totally mess up his romance , only had sexy time by the end of act 3 , Kinda wait ten years for him and he dumped me , yeah :D)

Spoilers? What spoilers? :P I love knowing stuff at forehand. The way I experience the game is something that can't be told by someone else anyway.

Did you guys hear that EA had their lawyers tell these people to take down the concept art and possible Subtitles? Could this mean it's legit?

See, i'm a bit of a contradiction, because I love that feeling you get when you play a new game that you've been really looking forward to/just discovered for the first time but you know absolutely nothing about what's gonna happen, who's gonna be in it, or what the outcome of your actions will be. You dunno where you're going or what you're doing so you let the story sweep you along as you see and experience everything for the first time... It's kinda overwhelming because you're trying to take in your surroundings and process what's going on, but at the same time you wanna move the story along quicker to find out what happens next and talk to the companion's/characters some more.

BUT, I have this horrible habit of caving in and reading spoilers/leaks. I actually read the entire leaked script for ME3, which, although turned out to be a blessing in disguise due to the rubbish ending, it still ruined the game for me because I knew what was going to happen, how to successfully romance each character and who could potentially die etc. So I'm hoping that the DA3 script won't get leaked, because although I don't mind knowing if Cullen's a companion/LI or not and who some of the companions will be, the rest I want to discover for myself when I play the game.

Don't know ...but they kind of bring it on themselves if the survey is a true one.
It took me what 30 min to find the survey on the net...and a bit of luck cause those survey are given randomly....

There were not really a disclosure asking to keep it secret, they did ask to not talk about it saying that you may never participated to a survey again because of your IP adress...
But nothing super official that you could print or anything.

And it was already leaked on a french forum like two weeks ago (jeuxvideo.com) except few people cared about it.
( i was really surprise to find that out on the french BSN ...but anything DA related is pretty dead over there :s)

Oooo! So perhaps at the very least those pictures are real. I dunno why the bothered to put all that into a survey if they wanted to keep it secret, bit of a dumb move lol.
