OK... I think this is what I was thinking of. It just sounded very... "she's not a companion." But, notably, it doesn't say that.

cuz I have to be honest, any so called evidence i pull from my "arse"---courtesy of my friends across the Pond--is only to support my hope that Cullen is a companion.

 

Cuz...going into battle w/your LI is something special. I wanna slosh thru all those ripple-y water ways with him. See the Veil tears with him; go to new exciting places w/my LI. I just feel like you bond more, and get to know them better when you travel with them.

We've seen him with a 2h sword in DAO and in DA2 he was a shield and sword kind of dude. Maybe will all of his 'spare' time, he trains like a mad man. So maybe he has hidden talents.

I know others have said it, but, Iron bull has NOT been confirmed as a companion. So what we know so far:
 
3 warriors: Cassandra, ??, ??
3 mages: Vivienne, Solas, ??
3 rogues: Varric, ??, ??
 
Beyond that, the only other confirmation we have is that Cullen is an LI.
But speculation is fun too!

OK, I'm admittedly confused here: People seem all over the place on wether IB is a confirmed Companion or not. Why do some people think he's been confirmed as a follower??

truth be told, nobody ahs been officially confirmed except Viv, Cass and Varric. Cullen's LI status is the closest thing we've come to officially knowing abt other characters.

Because the Official Xbox Magazine and a German gaming magazine both stated the IB was a confirmed companion. However, there's been no word from any of the devs on this point.

It was "confirmed" by a magazine, but the same article also included some pretty significant incorrect information so the whole thing is somewhat suspect. I don't consider anyone confirmed till we hear it from Bioware.

I think option 1 would be the best, IMO. Some people who haven't been in here for awhile might come in and be like what happened to the thread? I think it's fair to leave it here and make a new one on the other forums. That way you don't lose communication with the entire community when they pop back up.
