That mustache and goatee are not working for him whatsoever, lol. Call me weird but i'd rather a man just had a beard if he's going the facial hair route. I don't think I've seen a companion make yet that I thought was too ugly to romance, but this dude would be the first. Sorry

Sorry. Where are my manners? I thought I was the only one who hadn't seen it? It's the whole playthrough, though it's over 6 hours long. But Johnson arrives early in the game and has all sorts of witty stuff to say throughout.

My Inquisitor will romance Cullen no matter what he looks like. He's definitely a handsome guy (I like both versions from previous games actually!) but the main reasons I'm excited about him as a love interest are his personality and his backstory.

 

I'm confident he'll be attractive, though!

For me, the biggest bit of good news is that he's in the game at all, romance or not. I am happy for all the good news but what I want most (and therefore fear) is how the story is written. If they write him as going over the edge, I want it done well. I may not be able to fangirl the character anymore, if that's the case, but I'd still love the story. If that's not how it goes, all the better (of course). So really, I'm just cruising along. My biggest interests won't be addressed until I see the story unfold.

R2, when (if) you create the thread can you name it something the OFFICIAL Cullen thread? It needs to be the official, to separate it from the ones created speculating and created by none Cullen fans and only Cullen since we don't know if his title is changed. Maybe he is Knight Commander. So

Just a quick question, has it actually been confirmed that there will be "advisors", or is that speculation? I'm thinking that if DHMG and Scribe girl were to be included they could be the remaining rogue and mage, and including scribe girl would even out the gender ratio a little. (obviously one of the currently assumed companions would have to go, though).

 

I'm thinking:

warriors: Cass, Cullen, Warden/IB  (or Cass/Cullen being mutually exclusive, Warden, Iron Bull)

rogues: Sera, Varric, Scribe girl (as bard?)

mages: Viv, Solas, DHMG (Dorian?)

If anyone wants to, for the new thread, I can make that master list of "Why I like Cullen and want him in DAI" posts.

 

All that needs to happen is someone starts a post with (spoiler tag it if you want to) their reason why and just have it go from there like a train. 

 

The question gets asked a lot and I imagine it is going to escalate from this point on. Then I can just make a giant spoiler tagged post of everyone's responses and save the link to the post. Easy.
