I hope they will get along too! Luckily most cats appear to think that rats are a bit too large to be easy prey. And most rats are quite bold and will actually scare away an insecure cat. I have picked him for his laidback character, which will hopefully help with that too. If they really, really don't get along... than I will have to think hard on what to do, as my current group will probably be gone in about a year (8 rats, of which 4 are 2+ years). So than I would have to make up my mind whether I want to continue to keep rats or the cat. But lets first see how it does Not planning to let them together without supervision.

 

And I really like the warroom pic. It's raising so many questions and speculations! Slowly some pieces of the puzzle are coming together... Yet I think that flaily hands and scribe girl are no companions, because they are, just like Leliana, concentrated on themselves. (Maybe-)Cullen is focussing on the inquisitor, just like Varric and Cassandra... I recall having had this same discussion a few months ago. I think it's great!

Never specified as far as I know, but his dialog suggests he's pretty new and inexperienced. Interpret that how you will time-wise I guess.

No official info about that, you can write whatever you want. But I believe he hasn't been there for long, maybe a couple of years. He's young, about the same age as Alistair, and Alistair hasn't taken his vows yet. But at the same time it doesn't look like he's new to the tower. 

My own headcanon was he arrived to Kinlock Hold in 9:25, Dragon, and has been there for 5 years before the Blight began. Based on my story requirements I probably made him older than he is.

I think it might have happened on both sides? Whatever threats have happened, though, it's not the Cullenites from this thread that's been doing it. Maybe it's all happening over at tumblr? That place can get pretty toxic... 

 

(Not to say the BSN can't get MAJORLY toxic, but I personally haven't seen any extremist Cullen fans around these parts?)

That's far, far from okay. Painting every fan of a character with the same brush isn't exactly cool, either, though...

You have got to be kidding me! I've never really been on tumbler, except for David Gaider's blog and LadyIsanity's PAX blog and they're both perfectly fine and not even a little crazy. I didn't realise it could be like that.

I can't believe anyone could take arguing over a god damned computer game character to such an obscene place. I'm totally gobsmacked and these people claim to be 'Cullenites', it makes me ashamed to be one myself. I mean really, how dare they ruin fangirling/guying over Cullen with their actions.

What goes on with people the minute they're given anonymity and a keyboard?

I guess it's not that surprising? Ms. Hepler was treated terribly by fans and had her life and the life of her family threatened over... I think what caused the whole mess was her admitting she didn't like combat? I'm not sure but it was terrible.

 

 I guess some people have some horrible, horrible things in them as soon as they're not face to face with who they're attacking. 

 

Then again, some people can have horrible things in them when they are face to face with other people.

Don't know about tumblr, but the DA community seems more peaceful when discussing characters than the ME one (even before ME3). It might be because there are always more new characters, while in ME3 the debates/rivarlies between the various fandoms were going for years, but I didn't follow the ME community close before ME3 development, so I'm not sure.

I honestly didn't. I don't approve what they did, but I don't let those people make me feel ashamed of myself.
Though I have experiences on this type of things, since I'm very passionate for football/soccer, and the Italian supporters arent know worldwide to be good fellas.

Indeed... I felt horrible when I heard about all the crap Hepler had to deal with... I don't like combat either, and is one of the reasons I have not liked ME (no auto-fights, but I have to actively aim and shoot at things...). Why would it be an issue if someone admits that he or she likes some aspects more or less? The mentality 'you are different than me, so you suck!' is seriously pissing me off... I have 'weird' hobbies too, and I feel seriously sad that I cannot be open about them everywhere because people will act upon that. Heck, this is the ONLY place where I have been showing off my templar costume... I haven't even shown it to my friends on facebook.

I am glad that in here people are mature enough to acknowledge that opinions vary, and that such is a good thing. Discusions can be had, but no one is better or worse because he/she has a diffent point of view...
