Hmm. Sounds like you might need some practice then. It doesn't even matter what our opinion is on what is/isn't a spoiler. Nor does your opinion matter. What matters is the devs' opinion on spoilers. And that has been made abundantly clear.

Coming back to the teachable moment here, don't post spoilers on the BSN. And think first before patronizing us.

Even through casual observation, it's pretty obvious that you're either trolling the thread, or you truly have no concept of how to behave in a forum like this. You don't post spoilers, you don't sabotage people's threads and conversations, and you don't do all that and then blame the people you did it to. If you choose to behave that way, then people will call you on it.

 

If you can take responsibility for what you did and accept the criticism, it shows character on your part. You are not doing that. That indicates either an inability to take responsibility for your own actions, or that those actions were intentionally harmful.

 

Telling us we're overreacting is insensitive and false, at best; rude and sexist, at worst.

 

Please don't say things like that. It makes things much worse. It was rude, yes, but it's best to leave it at that. If it's about gender for jnd0e, then don't make it about gender for you and everyone else, it just drags the forums down.

Posting art book stuff is kind of illegal. Going as far as posting that here on the OFFICIAL forums, might be careless or foolish. I don't know. So far people have been posting edited pictures of stuff we've seen in the trailers already or their own creations.

In fairness to R2, JndOe did somewhat dismissively refer to all Cullen fans as being fangirls in the "apology", once again perputating the myth that this is indeed the case, when it reality their are plenty of blokes (myself included) who both are fans of Cullen's character and regularly post in the Cullen thread?

 

Not to make a major case out of it, but it does come across as an intentional slight.

To be honest, while I don't agree with every single decision every single mod has made, I've never, ever seen such a rash thing happen. I was just taken aback by that... I don't get it... now I feel awful for reporting that post to begin with. The lack of communication from the mods only makes it worse... last time, Allan was kind enough to lock it, and write us all a little message saying it was getting cleaned.... this is just shocking. And by the way, any decision that makes a person regret reporting a post is a bad decision in my opinion.

To be fair I don't think that there was malicious intent or trolling. There has been apology, mods are looking into issue and hopefully we get our thread back. It sucks that our thread got tangled in this though.

FOLKS! Let's not further the issue. Our thread was spoiled. It has been hidden, possibly deleted. What's best is that we trek on. Allan has been very clear that he'll check on this tomorrow, so it's important to breathe and continue being the happy internet family we are, rather that taking troll bait which could lead to a flaming session that rivals any seen this side of Thedas.
