Ok there is something really odd about Cullen's head on that leak peak. It looks way out of proportion to the body....likes its pasted on. I checked all my Cullen pics and he has a neck.

Can someone repost it so I can blow it up with Photoshop?<_<

It kinda looks like they've given him a beard or mutton chops. I really hope they haven't, that would totally be DG trolling the fangirls lol.

Good Morning Good Morningggggggggggggg. *does Gene Kelly dance*

You still on about that beard? I think it's just stubble. In any case I like a beard. Adam has a beard. Not a big Dumbledore beard but just a little one. It's sexy. Makes him look rugged.

Berelinde, this might help put your mind at rest. Mark Darrah posted saying:

"I know that a lot of "information" seems to have surfaced recently and a lot of you have questions. We have not announced anything and, as I have said before, we won't be talking about anything until we have gameplay to back up the words.

I know it is difficult to be patient but I ask you to do your best to allow us to surprise and delight you when we DO have something to show you.

In the meantime, keep giving us your feedback at expos, fan conventions, and online. We are listening."

I saw that, actually. I don't usually have a problem articulating my opinions. :innocent:

I think it means most of it is true and he wants us to stop looking for stuff so we can be surprised. No.

I dunno. I guess to an extent there's some truth in it, like the part in the description mentioning the world at war with itself, since we already know that through DG 'n' co at PAX lol. As for the rest, I guess it's mostly fake. Which kinda puts us all back to square one in regards to Cullen being a companion/LI lol.

Nah. They would have outright said it was fake. What would the point be of not addressing it specifically?

No, they would not say it was fake. Before DA2 came out, somebody posted this ongoing blog about their progress through the "leaked" game that included a siege of the Black City and Flemmeth as a companion. Devs expressed amusement and advised us to wait and see. When real spoilers did come out, the whole thing was debunked.

Maybe because there's still no "DA3" to confirm or deny? I'm sure they have to be very careful.

That's a good point. If they debunked it then they are pretty much confirming that DA3 is "in the making" - Even though we know it is because they've dropped enough hints, they still haven't directly confirmed it.

I am so curious what Cullen will look like in the next game. If it picks up just after 9:40, he'll be at least 34ish. Now this is not old but it IS older than 24 (his age in 9:30). Of course, he looked a bit older than that to me in DA2 anyway... So maybe they went for a mean age for the ten years, setting him at his age at the midpoint? So, 29 in 9:35?

So what if they decide to age him in DA3? ...like they did Alistair, she adds ominously...

Alistair was like that in DA2 because of age?
I though it was because of a bad cheese diet.

About Cullen , I thought is DAO model looked older than the DA2 one.
Besides , you don't change that much between your 20's 30's.(I'm going to be 30 next year so sensitive subject here ! :P)

They may give him an older look , but i don't think they would change his face too much , if the engine doesn't change much.
Maybe new hair style , a scar i don't know ...

Ten years after the Blight is one year after Cassandra interviewed Varric. Cullen would be... 35? That isn't too old. And the man takes care of himself. He'll look fine.

Lemme see...

The Warden (and Alistair, Nathaniel, Sigrun, Velanna, and probably Anders... although who knows how old he really is) will be 31, but they will have been tainted for 10 years, so they may look older. If DG was right in saying that Warden life expectancy was 10 years on average, some may be dying off.

Cullen will be 35.

Morrigan will be in her 30s, although she is probably rather ageless. Leliana will be in her 40s. Oghren will have died of cirrhosis of the liver will probably be in his 40s... if he's still alive. Wynne is dead.

Anora and Isolde will be in their 40s, if they survived. Connor will be in the 16-18 range, if he's alive. Teagan will be in his 40s (but no doubt just as hot as ever). Arl Eamon is dead. Ser Gilmore, for those who have the mod, and Jowan will be around 30. Gorim married a Denerim smith's daughter (grumble, grumble), so who cares how old he is? Sgt. Kylon is probably in is 50s and just as badass as ever.

Alain will be 20 or so. Charade Amell will be the same age she was in DA2 (although hopefully, somebody gave her some hair-styling tips since then). Serendipity is ageless.

Edit: I'm in my mid-40s. Age didn't start catching up with me until the last year or so, and that's mostly the gray hair. Some of my friends started showing their age in their late 30s, but nobody I know changed that much between 25 and 35.

If they do that I really hope he doesn't end up the way poor Alistair did. If he returns looking like some strange sheep I will be slightly annoyed. But personality over looks...right?

So I was thinking about how the protagonist will be introduced into the role of "hero" again. (I'll run with the Inquisitor thing to make the example easier and refer to the protagonist as a female.)
What if the our new protagonist somehow gets confused by the Divine or whoever as someone important who was originally chosen to be the "Inquisitor"? Like, perhaps during the blast she happens up stumble across the body of the real would-be inquisitor. Checking to see if he/she is still alive she discovers some sort of scroll or emblem on the body, thinking it could be sold for coin she pockets it item, attaching it to her belt or whatever. Finally we manage to find our way out of the debris and rubble to rejoin those who survive the blast. The Divine/whoever notices the scroll/emblem and launches into this speech about how the protagonist is the chosen one, gifted with the task of leading the world to peace blah blah blah. The protagonist tries to intervene and explain but is unable to get a word in. The next thing she knows she's been thrown into the role of the Inquisitor and doesn't have the faintest idea what she's supposed to be doing lol.

Heh. I was going to protest that that scenario locks you into being a thief, but we all know that's bullshot. The first thing any of us do when playing is check for loot.

Well, Kaidan was about 35/36 in ME3 and he looked hot as hell, so I shouldn't think Cullen would look too rough.

... Unless they give him a dodgy beard, then I'll cry LOL. In theory they won't change his physical appearance too much because they want to keep companions with their distinctive/unique appearance. In the case of Alistair and Zev they just didn't transfer over too well due to the huge change in game style. I vaguely remember DG saying something about keeping the same art style for DA3, so hopefully Cullen will look much the same as his DA2 model.

Exactly lol. Or maybe she just notices it in the rubble and picks it up because it's there, either to keep or with the intention of giving it back to its owner.

*Edit* Or the dying person gives it to her?

My rule is that it's not stealing if they're dead.... or if the box is open. lol

As far as ages go, I think my warranty expired when I was around 35. Since then I've had to use dut tape to hold some spots together. The high beams don't exactly shine as brightly, if ya know what I mean. Soon enough I'll be in the lingerie dept. shopping for a 36 long. <Wink wink.... know what I mean?>
