Lol, when people say "toss him to you guys" I always imagine us in some sort of pit, clawing at the sky like hungry beasts while the devs dangle poor Cullen from their fingers.

Sounds like accurate imagery. :P

Wait. When is Cullen a complete bastard in DA2? He seemed pretty nice to my Hawke...was that because I sided with the templars? But when I played as a mage he didn't seem all that bad either and I sided with mages.

If you sided with the templars, then your Hawke is... well.

As for the mages, he's still enforcing all of Meredith's will right up until the very end.

Oh ok I see what you mean.

As for siding with templars my first time....I have no idea what I was doing. Plus I had to do it for the achievement anyways :D My other playthroughs I have sided with mages since I'm a mage.

Totally off Cullen topic: did anyone else think Gascard Dupuis was good looking? Or was I the only one..?

I thought he was alright.

Until he turned out to be a traitor >:|

I still need to get the viscount of Kirkwall achievement so my current playthrough will probably side with the templars

Actually, you know how bad Alistairs model looked? Well someone swapped his face onto Anders and in the light it's actually not bad at all, quite similar to his old face.

Oh, mine too! This will be my first one, I tried before but it's always difficult for me.:pinched: Even with Mr. Knight-Captain being there, tempting me.

Really? Do you have a picture?

I always download mods to switch it out with a handsomer version. No way my handsome Alistair turned out like that haha

It should be in the Anders thread. I'd copy it over but I'm using the net on my phone.

My bad, it's on the Fenris thread, current page.

The only thing that makes him look slightly odd is that his top lip is a bit too thin.

That's the one! He looks better in the light than when we see him elsewhere in the game as a drunk, King or Warden.

He does look much better though, instead of when we see him in other places and he just looks so...odd.

Yeah the lighting does weird things to the characters. Even Cullen looks a little odd in certain scenes depending on the light effect used and the angle. I hope they sort that out in DA3.

Not as many character issues with lighting in the DA series compared to Mass Effect in my experience.

Everyone was so pale in ME3.

Also there was always weird orange lighting by Kaidan's spot back in the Normandy-SR1. So I have to agree with you there haha.

I wonder if the companions in DA3 will ever be seen wearing anything other than their unique outfit/armor? I was thinking it would be cool if between quests they'd have a casual set of clothes (kinda like in ME3), or maybe during certain cutscenes where they'd be wearing a casual outfit that wouldn't be accessible, but is just worn in that particular scene. For example:

We go to an Orlesian ball and our companions accompany us, but their usual attire changes to some sort of party outfit (like in the MotA DLC), or maybe during the sexy time or romantic cutscene your LI (I'll use Cullen as an example) approaches you one evening wearing just a pair of trousers/pants and a loose white linen tunic top, so that when their first kiss/embrace happens the scene looks more engaging and intimate, rather than watching them try to hug/grope each other over heavy material or armor lol.

Lol true, but the character creator in the Mass Effect games were better lighting wise. I'd make what I thought were really attractive Hawkes, only to finally see them properly for the first time in game and realise I'd created something that looks like a cabbage patch kid. I can't remember how long I've spent in the Black Emporium giving my Hawkes a face lift, but I bet it adds up to hours!
