Cullen would definately become the Alistair/Isabella of my party in Dragon Age 3 - the person I NEVER switch out and keep in my party in every playthrough xD I just hope he isn't dead serious..

You know I get the sense from his unused dialogue in Origins that he might have a proto sense of humor that just needs some encouragement. Can't easily link to it right now, but vieralynn has them all on her tumblr. What was it he speculates about...? Andraste's virginity?

About Cullen's beard in the concept art...I don't think thats a beard, it looks like it's part of his shirt or something, unless, I'm looking at something different.

I was re-studying it earlier and your right, it could be his shirt. Admittedly it would seem odd to change his facial hair when his defining unique style is his tidy stubble and short curly hair.

Apparently it was found in Cullen's DA:O files buried in the game. So I think maybe he was supposed to originally be a temp follower, maybe during the Origin the Warden could have coaxed him into helping Jowan escape or something?

No, all the dialogue files are from Origins. It does sound like original recipe Anders, tho.

Yeah, it sounds like Anders to me, not Cullen.
