In relation to my previous post, and more related to this topic, I wonder if they'll change the art style in DA3. DA:O had a more darker and grimy feel, DA2 felt more brighter, yet tense. And facial features seemed to change, the elves especially. I wonder if Cullen will look a bit different, for better or worse? And would he have changed not just art-wise, but in looks? A beard? Longer hair? I wouldn't want him to.

If that leaked concept art of a templar suspicously similar to cullen posted here a few days ago is anything to go by, I would think not.

Cullen with long hair and a beard:sick:. He shouldn't change much...hopefully.

A beard  That would be disappointing 

If he grew his hair out, he might end up with a fro.  Imagine he removes his helmet after battle, and BOIII-IIIING!! all that curly hair flops out xD

I hope this doesn't get me stoned by Cullen fans  but I hope he is available to male PCs as a LI, too. I know he only shows interest in a female mage and nto a male. But damn it, I wanted to romance him the second I saw him in DA2!! I would be so heartbroken if I had to make a female PC to have at him *cry* It would be the Alistair situation all over again.

Yeah, his curly blonde hair and stylish stubble are what defines him facially, if they want to keep to the whole "companions with unique recognisable styles" then changing his appearance drastically would be daft.

I lost it when I looked up and saw that pic. LOL . And him being married to somone else makes no sense since Templars werent supposed to marry. But that never explained Avaline and her old man. or am I wrong on the Templars being married?

 Ugh, cullen would look strange with long hair  I never said I endorsed the idea! I love his hairstyle, I use it on almost all of my characters.  

EDIT: Just looked at the link - I don't know... It's refreshing to have a short-haired guy in a medieval fantasy, where most men just let their hair flow!

DG says Templars can marry with permission, as Aveline did. You can read about, with link to DG, in the Templar Order wiki page.

Naw, most discussion we've had around here is equal opportunity! I hope whoever wants to romance him, can. And just because he wasn't into m!Warden, doesn't mean anything.
