I know what you mean, esp since my headcanon has the short hair following from his commitment to duty... And it's just plain more practical with a helmet. So imagine... What would he do if he's no longer a Templar...? Mwa ha ha ha

With the subjective sexuality thing going on, I think I've pretty much already decided that in my DA universe Cullen will always be straight. And since "everyone's way to play is valid" nobody can hate on that, right?

I romanced Fenris once ("for science") and then headcannoned that he's definitely gay. So I think I can make Cullen straight without being a bigot - that's the point of bi-romanceability, right?

Did I say that Cullen could be married? I don't remember saying that, but that doesn't mean I didn't. It would be cruel, tho!

@moto: I'm hoping that if Cullen is a LI, he's bi, too... although I don't know. The decision about whether I romance a character with a male or a female really depends on the NPC. I'll do the "Fenris rebound to Anders" thing with a male PC, but if I'm rolling a female PC, she will only ever flirt with Anders. It just seems to work that way for me. So, if Cullen is a LI, I'll have to see which I like him better with. Of course, if Galyan is *also* a LI, I may romance Cullen with the females and Galyan with the males.

When I first read "I don't see Cassandra getting on with anybody" and R2 adding "except for Galyan," I misread the first sentence as "I don't see Cassandra getting it on with anybody" and the second sentence made my brain squirt out my ear. True story.

Actually, I'm not sure I could see Cullen and Cassandra hooking up. I don't know why, but I'm just not getting a lot of passion potential in that combination. That's the trouble with moving away from a friendship/rivalry system to an approval/disapproval system. Some NPCs just seem to work better if there's tension.
